I didn't read enough about these before buying. While I am happy with my purchase, I wish they could do standard colors like daylight or soft white. You can get close but they don't automatically switch like the standard or PAR 30 bulbs. They work great as under cabinets lights. I just ran the cord down the side of our cabinet mounted microwave and ran the lights under each cabinet section (left and right.) Luckily for me, the 6 foot length was perfect for each side. The real killer app came with the purchase of the Amazon Echo. Using Siri was painful but the Echo communicates with all my home automation including Smartthings. One voice command the the lights are one. Doesn't matter which system they belong to.

This goes way beyond lighting. I never thought lighting to be so innovative. I am more than enjoying this product. You have not experienced true lighting until you experience HUE philips Lighting Sytem.

Easy to set up and use, just plug in and go! There are a variety of apps to have the light flash, sync to music, cascade colors, etc. Great way to easily add a professional look to your room.

I am so glad Best Buy had a starter kit for the LED strips. These LED strips are a wonderful addition to our living room. They were very easy to install and setup with the HUE bridge.

This starter kit has all that I needed ot start off with backlighting my 65" TV. Problem is I required two light strips in the starter kit itself to completely light up the back of the TV but I'll account that to the TV size and not the strips. BEWARE though, the pricing is NOT appealing enough for everyone to say "wow I want to try this" so read up and inform yourself before you commit. This lighting system IS a unique and interesting one. With plenty of way s to customize and entertain a crowd at your place on a social night. Deffientely a conversatoion starter and for amusement. Going for the Hue light bulbs next! Minus 2 stars just because the price doesnt really fit the product since you have to buy apps on your phone/ipad to have different ways to operate and amuse.

I put these behind my TV and around my bed. I use them as accent lights and have them synced with my kodi box so they change to whatever color is displayed on my TV!

Great addition to your hue lights. They look gorgeous, providing light to dim areas and color to boring environments. A two pack with a lowered price

I really like these lights and I got them in sake for about half the normal price. Since then I have purchased a bunch of hue lights to replace other bulbs and really like them. The only downside is these are an older version of the lightstrips and not compatible with the extensions. I wish I would have known that before purchasing 3 packs of the 3 ft extensions

The strip lights were easy to place and setup. I will eventually purchase other bulbs for my home.

This light script is great. I got it when it is on sale. It is easy to install and flexible.

Just an awesome idea to put background lighting behind the tv looks superior

This is a great starter kit to get your smart home lighting going as you can easily add more lighting to it. At this price point I would expect more lumens

I purchased this lighting set to light a display cabinet. Problem was, I needed strictly white light and this set was not exactly designed for that. Other than that, the set did exactly what it was supposed to do.

i purchased this out of curiosity when i saw it on deal of the day. Great purchase to use as accent lighting, but if you're looking to use this to provide actual bright white light then i wouldn't recommend.

Ease of use and installation nice colors great kit

A nice edition to my hue setup, in this case in my kitchen. Once configured with my existing Hue devices is easy to use but I did have to add them to my configuration manually as the app wouldn't detect them. This wasn't that difficult but might phase a new user. LEDs are nice and bright with a nice range of colors and configuration options available.

I like the light strip and everything it's just a little pricey getting your whole house done when it comes to adding lights

Very impressive technology. Many different shades can be achieved. Easy to install, the only downside is hiding the wiring. Bright and useful light for accent lights.
