I want to tie multiple strips together so I need the newer version

It's a good product work very good but it's not bright enough lumens

After returning my defunct WeMo light strips, I decided to try these. It took a little while for them to be detected by the bridge and app, but they work fine now and look great. I receive compliments anytime people see them. If you're looking for little accent lighting strips, I'd recommend these. My only criticism, and the reason they're getting 4 stars, is that you can't connect numerous strips like you can with the WeMo, and it's only one length. You can cut them to fit, but once you cut them you can't use the separate piece again and you're just out that section.

I ordered these lights and then tried to cancel order because I realized they were the old version. They were shipped anyway so I returned them to the store to swap. The store was happy to do it but I lost the rewards I used on the initial purchase. They told me it would take at least 15 days before I could get my reward money back. I ended up ordering from Amazon at a cheaper price and I love the lights. I plan on ordering more for the rest of the house. I would like to order from Best Buy, but I still haven't had my reward money returned yet.

One light worked great, like it should, the other didn't work correctly. It turn on but not always change color or turn off.

The Hue system is a FAR superior system than the OSRAM/Belkin light strip kit. The Hue system was very easy to set up and took only a few minutes. I would have given it 5 stars but the basic hue app (extensive connection drops and extremely limited capabilities) leaves quite a bit to be desired. That said, other apps work MUCH better such as Hue Lights. With Hue lights, you have much more flexibility and options as well as 10000x better stability (no connection drops). You get 2 - 6ft LED light strips, the base, and an ethernet cable (only to plug into your router, not to plug into the lights).

I keep my rooms fairly dimly lit. These Hue LED strips have made an incredible difference. My son and I each bought a set during Black Friday (½ price!) and love them. One great thing is instead of using both bridges from both sets, we only needed one. Saves on Ethernet ports. We can control our separate light strips from the App. Very nice!

I am so glad Best Buy also sells (online) a starter kit for the LED strips. I initially thought I would have to buy one of the two 'bulb' styles offered in store when my main intent was to have strip lights above the kitchen cabinets. They are awesome!

I am enjoying the product, but it is overpriced in my opinion. These strip lights are better when used as night lights or when all the main lights are switched off. This way, you can see the cool effects. With the other lights on, you cannot feel the effect..

I have two of these. One is on the back of my flatscreen for ambient light and the other is on top of my kitchen cabinets..beautiful!!! Hue totally rocks and no, i don't work for Philips :-)

They need to start a support group for these; you buy one and then you start buying them for the whole house. I have three in my living room and two hue spotlights. I've had endless fun with them and have them tied into IFTTT for notifications, etc. Once you buy one, you're hooked.

I have many Hue Lights and these add to my stunning light show!
