I really enjoy the Philips Hue Lux bulbs. They work great and offer the ability to control them with my phone. Which opens up so many other possibilities. They are cheaper than the full color bulbs, but a great place to start if you just want dimmable, controllable bulbs.

I bought this to help me wake up in the morning as I need light to help wake me up. The hue system is excellent and sync's effortlessly. It is also nice because you can use the Philips or GE smart light bulbs with this and it works the same. I would recommend this product to anyone as I have already convinced a few friends to buy this.

I was hesitant to get into the smart light realm, but this kit hooked me. These bulbs are white light and dimmable. Half the cost of the color changing HUE bulbs which is fine because I don't want to live in a disco. From the security angle these lights can be set on timers through the control app as well which is good.

The Philips Hue Lux system works well. While I wish the free Philips app had more features, there are a number of good alternatives out there for iOS devices. Will be adding a few more bulbs soon to complete my setup. Also think I need to get the Philips Tap remote to make it easy for the whole house to use.

These light system make for a nice white light with a large spectrum. These lights can get quite bright. I use 4 of them in a room and it works well. I do not have any other devices. Control over the lights is quick and responsive. I use mine with an Amazon Echo for voice control. Works well.

This system is really easy to set up, and once set up you can have your home lighting set perfectly for whatever mood you want. The automation is great too. Set your lights to go on or off when you'd like, it's a convenient feature especially if you don't want your home dark when no one is there.

Bought this kit mainly for the hub as I wanted the colored bulbs and light strips. I should never have started as now I have about 20 of these and rapidly going broke :) They are rather pricy to be light bulbs but if you look at them as "scene creators" they are brilliant. I love these.

Definitely want to fill my whole house with these now, they are very handy, one of the best things is that you can set an alarm with them and have them fade up so it's similar to the philips sunrise alarm clock, pretty cool, would definitely buy again and will probably buy more

This is quite an interesting product. I use it along with an Amazon Echo as well as Logitech Harmony Hub. I honestly get more use out of it with the Amazon Echo though as it is easier to tell Echo to turn on, off, or dim lights than to open an app. Very easy setup and configuration.

Im handicapped and having someone turn the lights on and off for me was annoying especially when i needed a light on then i saw this and thought it work great and it does i can turn each bulb on and off at whatever dimness from my phone or tablet. Great product! Easy to use.

From here you can add individual lights as needed to build the perfect network. My Lux's are now up in my entrance way. I use IFFFT to turn them on everyday at sunset and off at sunrise -- too easy and too cool! And I am adding coloroed Hue's one by one inside my house!

It works great and makes it so easy to control your lights. Getting set up took no time at all, it worked flawlessly from the start. Being able to set timers and alarms for your lights is something you wouldn't know you wanted until you have it. Highly recommend.

The light is a great starter. And is great for the money. But not as bright as the original white and color. Does the trick and still a great light, brightness is okay, but would be happier if a little brighter. I will still buy more however.

You can walk right into wireless lighting with this set up. I use the iOS app primarily but have a floating android also to control the lights. I Woolf say I had to centers luxe the hub so that it could connect all around the house.

I needed to have a few lamps on a timer. Rather than have an ugly plug-in timer at each outlet, these bulbs solved the problem while looking stealth. This kit is a good option to those that don't want or need the color options.

I got a good deal with additional $10 off at the store. So if was a good bargain. The bundle contains the bridge and two dimmable smart LED bulbs. The bridge will require the provided Ethernet cable to connect to the home router. Power up the bridge and then use the smartphone app to control the lights. The product is good quality and works well. Very useful as light can be controlled even from out of the home wifi network. My only complain is about the smartphone app (android) that sometimes takes little longer to connect to the bridge. Other than that I like some of the predefined settings for light levels that you can have as shortcuts in your smartphone screen. Pressing them would set the desired light level to bulbs. I would recommend this product.

it does exactly as it is supposed to. Been able to control the two bulbs with my iPhone is very easy although it works a lot quicker when you're connected to your home Wi-Fi as opposed to using your Verizon LTE connection.

These lights work great. They allow me to dim lights when watching movies and set timers so the lights are on when I wake up. I also like the fact I can add an additional 49 bulbs to expand my smart bulb network.

Actually I hat though, incorrectly of course, that this product was in color. The seem to work fine.. the apps for these products, are not what you would expect, nor what they could be. For what it is, it is KOOL.

I purchased this item to provide an on/off switch for a living room light while I was out of town for about three months. I chose this method over a timer switch, because I could activated at any random time I chose. Things worked well for about six weeks, then a storm interrupted the power at my house, and when the service was restored, the app on my phone could no longer find the Wi-Fi bridge. Since I still had six weeks to go on my trip this was a bit of a concern. But there was nothing I could do. When I got home one of the first things I did was go in and check the Wi-Fi bridge. The connect light was flashing, signifying that it could not find the light. I pressed the connect button, and it's been working fine. I guess I'm just concerned if this should ever happen again. I also have an IP camera, and that too was knocked out during the outage. However it recovered on its own while I was still out of town, without any assistance from me. I've had 2 IP cameras, and they can be finicky, so now I'm left to wonder, is the HUE even more finicky? My recommendation is, get it if you need just some basic automation, but don't count on it in situations where reliability is important.
