Great if you want simple white lights you can dim...

Light bulbs worked as advertised. They are a bit dim but that isn't a big deal. There are cheaper alternatives out there now so check around before buying. The bulbs are also very fragile. I put one down on our dining room table a little rough and the thing cracked!

Bought this on sale. Thought I would see howitworked. Disappointed there is no instruction manual. I figured out how to program it after several attempts. Thought it is more difficult to program than the Wemo. Sort of expensive for what it does.

Over all this is a great product. There are some issues geofencing for example is working all the time not just at night when it is supposed to come on. It connects with staples connect pretty well but messes up some of the activities. Minor glitches overall a fun and exciting way to use lights.

This light is awesome. I love all the settings you can have and different triggers if you integrate into your existing connected devices. There's definitely a lot of setup if you want to make it super fancy but you can also choose to leave the setup really simple if you want. Great for anyone.

I originally bought the Lifx lights, but they did not have as good third party app support, so I switched to these. They do have to have a hub plugged into your router, but they are significantly cheaper after that. Looking forward to what Apple HomeKit will provide in the fall of 2015.

I received this product when I purchased my cell phone. I had never heard of Phillips Lux View before. What makes it great using it from your phone my biggest disappointment it's not used for outdoor because let's say I forgot to turn the outside light on then I can turn it on from my car

This product is almost perfect except when one of the light bulb is not reachable. Other than that, this is awesome. I like the geofencing feature which enables the bulbs to turn on when I am about to arrive the house.

This product is what you want if you want automation of the lighting in the house. Timer system is amazing and the convenience is unbeatable. I bought second package for my parents and they are in love with product as well. I highly recommend this products.

Smart light bulbs. What will they think of next? If you like tech gadgets you'll love these bulbs. Totally controllable over the internet using the app. Not sure that I will be buying many more as bulb price is quite high.

Purchased this item to be able to control some lights from my Iphone that are hard to reach. Set up was quick and easy. Software is easy to use. No complaints. I just wish extra bulbs and add-ons were less expensive

I didn't care about color-changing bulbs so when Philips came out with Hue Lux (white only) I took the plunge. I now have four bulbs set up and on schedules for when I am home and away. Great product.

I want so much to find a reason to buy these lights again (I returned my unit after the first week). But the fact that an inexpensive dimmer switch will do almost the same thing, makes it very hard to justify. Sure with Hue Lux, I can have the lights brighten when I come home, but my world is brighter all the time, not having forked out so much cash to avoid flipping the switch myself. At least the name seems right, but it's Lux that I can do without.

The system is great and easy to set up. I replaced two lights in my room and have them hooked up the my iOS app. Best of all I can turn out the lights without having to leave the bed!

These are awesome. I would 100% recommend to anyone. I pair mine with my Amazon Echo and it's nice to walk in and be able to have Alexa turn the lights on with my voice.

This app and light kit provide a different aspect to clap on clap off concept. Only draw back is if not close to Wi-Fi as enter home area it wont work to turn on or off lights

No complaints (or helpful hints for Philips)...they hit it out of the ballpark with this one....sure I would have liked to have the Apple hub but it could be worse.

I would recommend getting this start kit instead of the 3 bulb color starting kit. Best to see how it will work for you in white application and build from there.

it was great getting this item. now I can work it from my smartphone and tablet. I will probably purchase more of these now that I have been able to try it.

I was hesitant about this system. It was a little expensive to start, but totally worth the investment. My house is like a full-blown movie theater now.
