I setup the Phillips Hue motion sensor in our bathroom with one of the smart bulbs for when my wife gets up in the middle of the night. We were able to program the light to come on dimly instead of at full intensity so that it isn't blinding when you have to use the facilities in the middle of the night. It works great, the light turns on when you enter, and then turns itself off after a few minutes of no motion.

I love the motion sensor I put it in my bathroom. I love that you can't set two different time on there I have it set that after midnight when it sense motion it turn all the lights in the bathroom on nightlight mode there is nothing worse than having to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and being blinded by the bright light. I also set it for anytime after 7:00am they are on full brightness

I love this sensor! It works great (most of the time) and is a great complement to my hue system. The only drawback is sometimes it seems to get confused and doesn't turn on all the lights it's supposed to, but that happens with most smart home devices now and again.

This product works as advertised and is great if you want to turn on multiple hue bulbs on multiple switches, but like with all Hue bulbs the biggest issue is when some switches the lights off from the wall switch and therefore the motion detector will not function.

I bought this product to turn on my hue lights when I walked into my living room. The motion sensor does just that. What I forgot to account for is that my dogs would also trigger the sensor. I have 2 dogs, one medium sized about 23 pounds and one smaller at about 14 pounds. Both would trigger the sensor. You could probably play with the settings and find the perfect location for the sensor to make it all work but for my application I couldn't program the motion settings and have it work like I wanted it to. I have since returned the product but however if it wasnt for my pets this would have worked perfectly.

This was the fourth addition to my Hue setup. I have several Dimmer switches, Color bulbs, white bulbs, and now motion sensors. These are PERFECT for hallways and walk-in closets. They've been reliable about 95% of the time. Occasionally, I'll walk into my closet and the motion sensor won't trigger the light on, but that's pretty rarely. Overall I love the motion sensors I have. A great addition to Hue's other products.

I really like the Hue Motion sensors. I use them to automatically turn on the bathroom lights when you enter. You are able to program them pretty easily to adjust based on the amount of natural light and to automatically turn off after a designated amount of time. Very convenient and perfect to have less surface touching due to covid.

If you have Alexa connected with your philips hue lights then you absolutely should get this. I use them in my bathroom, kitchen, closet & hallway. Think about all the times you left the light on or more importantly stumbled in the middle of the night because you weren’t quite awake yet! Motion sensors have a day and night mode. You can set which type of list and the amount of brightness to depend on the time of day - how cool is that!!!

This extension of my hue smart home system adds a nightlight and an automatic light upon entry to the area. This is a flexible addition to the Hue app that is very versatile!

Small, not really noticeable and does what I want. Combined with other smart systems such as cameras,other motion detection, sound detection, speakers system, lights, ect. Intragration and compatibility is excellant. I have been able to create several modes of operation and activate what ever depending on sinarial at the time. Some modes include home, away, intrusion, loss of Electric and others.

Use it for my basement light and works great. My turns off after 15 minutes. Perfect.

A must-have for your automated household. I have this set up in my kitchen and when I come home with groceries I don't have to fumble for a switch the lights automatically come on after a minute of no activity till dim to let me know they're about to go off and then without any movement they will go off. Excellent works exactly as advertised and I love it.

I only give this 4 stars because I wish it could be angled at a greater degree...but, would I buy it again...yes, in fact I have three of these now. They work well. My child comes out of his room at night and lights illuminate his path to his parents’ room. My wife makes a bottle for our infant and lights automatically turn on as she goes to the kitchen. I highly recommend these...easy to place and program through the Hue App. I will plan on purchasing more.

I have these blanketing my house with Hue lights in every single room. It integrates with the hue app and HomeKit allowing you to automate all types of scenarios. As an added bonus if you don’t already have a home alarm you could use HomeKit (check requirements on apples website) to send you notifications if motion is detected to your phone. My mom liked it so much she’s adding them to her house as well.

Really easy to install, 1-screw to be exact. I really like the magnetic mounting feature, I have my sensor in my pantry and set the light to turn on when you open the door. Only down fall, not the product but the philips hue app, the light dims to 50% after 10secknds of no movement, then after a minute, the light completely turns off. Hopefully an upadte will come out to fix the all issue.

This is a great way to get more out of your Hue bulbs - I have a group of them in my office and have this sensor auto turn the group on with a scene for work and then a different one for evenings, and it auto turns them off after 3 minutes when I leave.

This Philips HUE motion sensor complements my 20+ HUE bulbs by enabling me to customize a convenience as well as security routine to automatically turn on a grouping of lighting. Motion sensor works flawlessly and I am very pleased with its performance. Battery usage still going strong after 7 months.

I've had motion sensors that were incredibly sensitive such that anything would cause it to activate. And I've had others that required waving ones hands in front of wildly. I don't know why it seems so difficult to configure a motion sensor that is a good balance and turns on only when you want, but this actually comes really close. I have it right by my front door, so all the lights turn on the moment I step in.

I use this with the Philips Hue lights and bought one each for the kitchen and the bathroom. I love the convenience of being able to walk in and the lights go on and with the timing feature, stay on while I am in there. I have it set so it goes off 1 minute after I leave the room and it's the best. Great for guests also who do not know where lights are. I use the standard white lights and just love this product.

Set it up to sense the motion as you walk into kitchen to turn the lights under the cabinet on. It works great. The large dog does set it off but they turn off after a little bit. It uses a magnet to stick up, I used the screw on a little face plate that is empty and it worked great. I'm sure there was probably a screw or something to use as well if needed or you could always get some heavy duty double sided tape.
