Perfect outdoor lights and for my growing collection of Hue lights. They put out a good warm light for ambiance and of course add security too.

These are fantastic bulbs! They work great outdoors, connected with ease to my HUE app, and look great too. They also gave me the ability to dim them to the desired brightness for my front porch. Set to auto and they go on and off every night and day. I almost gave four stars are for the high price. All the other hue bulbs have come down in price and these have not. But I like them too much to down grade my rating. Hopefully Hue will make them more affordable for everyone and they last a good long time.

I use this in my front/back porch with timers for automated on/off function (using the HUE app). Brightness is good for lighting a small area. Highly recommended if you're planning a full automated home, if not, a regular flood lamp at a much lower price point would probably suffice.

    Philips Hue Does It Right

I've used Philips Hue products in my smart home for over 6 months, and I have nothing negative to say. I live in an apartment, which makes lighting a bit difficult. These PAR-39 bulbs are no exception. I'm actually using them indoors in a torchere in my living room, because they are brighter than the standard A19. They are NOT selectable for the warmth of light / color temperature like the white/ambient ones are. They are probably 2700K, so a good 'standard' warmth (not too white, not too yellow). The wattage was more important than the warmth. These are equivalent to a 100 Watt standard bulb each. Just like the other bulbs, they are accessible via the smart phone app or a switch, and can be incorporated into whatever automation sequence you like. I use Apple HomeKit with them, and it works fine. Excellent product.

I had some outdoor floodlights on the outside of my house facing my driveway that i wanted to automate. I started doing research to see if Philips had any hue flood lights that were rated for outdoor use and i was thrilled when i found these. They are on the expensive side but they work great and the build quality is great. I think they will last a long time. I live in Louisiana and we get lots of rain and humidity. I haven't had any issues with these bulbs so far. I love that i can now have my outdoor flood lights turn on and off automatically on a schedule so I can see at night and people think someone is home. These Bulbs are dimmable and they can get pretty bright. I highly recommend these if you want to expand your Philips Hue system outdoors.

Excellent outdoor light. Got them on the first day of release. Very very bright. As usual, fast easy set up with the hub. Set a nightly timer through the app and it ran perfectly, as usual. I put these in my pre-existing lights and they fit perfectly. ( fit inside the metal light shades ) Standard PAR 38 socket. I highly recommend as an upgrade from standard bulbs.

Works as advertised! Shipping was really fast. It arrived the next day. Installation was easy. Just unscrewed the old ones and screwed in the new ones. Set up in the HUE app was also easy. My hun is located at the front of my house and these floodlights are located at the back and I have no connectivity issues. I have 6 of these lights installed around my home and am looking to add more! I also purchased the outdoor motion sensor

Very good color, ease of use and set up. I use this spotlight for Christmas time on front door and really enjoy that I can automate on/off times and even dim the brightness of light when and if I want. Also, I can control with Alexa which was very easy to pair with and control with my voice instruction as well as using app on phone. Cannot say enough good about it.

I love the ability to adjust the brightness. This has worked very well in my wooded area where there are no other lights available. Its very easy to set up automatic timer and to also use the app to shut off lights. Works well with google home. Also very long lasting even with everyday use. Mine has been working for 2 years now. I will buy again whenever mine stop working.

I've purchased 5 of these sets to replace all our floodlights. The ability to toggle them on/off individually, dim them, and integrate them into routines has been outstanding, especially with all the time we've spent outside at our house this year. Our home has a fairly large footprint but we have had absolutely no issues with connectivity to the hub.

Bought these two replace to flood light bulbs located near the back of our home. My purpose was to have them run in the evening from sunset to sunrise. I have an existing Hue system and hub. I did not want to buy a timer. It literally is as easy as screwing them in and adding them to the hub via the Phillips software. They turn on from sunrise to sunset, and I can even dim one of them so that it does not shine in our neighbors window. A little pricey for the bulbs but I recommend them.

Purchased these for some outdoor lights that I have lighting up a patio area. Previously I had regular bulbs that would be way to bright for the area and were not able to dim. I have Hue lights in the rest of my house so I decided to buy the first outdoor pair and these are just as easy to use and quality as the rest of their products. Now when hosting on our patio I can have the lights dim to the setting to keep from shining in everyone's faces but still provide enough light to keep the space lit.

I bought these so I can control my outside lights from my Alexa app while I’m away from house. To my surprise these light don’t need time to warm up. They are instant bright, brighter than any other flood light in my 30 years are a home owner. Easy to install, to longer to put bulbs into socket than to program.

If you are invested in the Hue ecosystem, these bulbs are a no brainer. The brightness output is great and the ability to adjust the brightness is a plus. If you pair these with the Lutron Aurora, you can’t lose. These are pricey given the lack of color but they are a solid choice for outdoor lighting.

These lights work great. They were easy to hook up to my Google assistant. I don’t touch the light switches anymore I just speak the words “Google turn on Upstairs lights“ and that’s it. I like that they could be set to different percentages like at night I keep them at 5%. Also if you have multiple ceiling hi hat lights on the same circuit you could never turn individual ones off before but now you can. I just labeled each bowl with numbers so I can tell one hallway light to turn on and not the other even though they’re on the same switch. That is very convenient.

These light up my driveway perfectly and with a nice bright light. I have been very impressed with the hue products. I use them with the motion detector and I couldn't be happier. Works so much better than the old regular lights and it is fully integrated through the app, google and even Alexa!

I replaced these with the standard flood light and they work great. I feel like the are brighter than the original one. I do wish you could switch these between daylight and a warm light. The are easy to sync with Alexa, Siri or my Vivint alarm system

These are the connected flood bulbs to own. I have had ge link and sylvania. These are much better. They just work. The others loose connection and have to be relinked. They work with hue accessories too, such as switches and motion sensors. Home kit functionality as well. They should’ve made these years ago. The only thing that would make these better is a white/ color version. Use them daily with out failing. Grand slam Philip’s Hue!

Added to my Philips Hue ecosystem. Easy to add. I use it for dusk to dawn setting for driveway. Lights provide well lit areas. It's nice adjusting the dimmer to avoid too much bright light.

Easy set up with my Hue bridge. I live in a condo and one of the automatic exterior lights was too bright pointing to my balcony. Solution was to swap with the hue bulb. Now I can dim or turn off without the HOA or neighbors knowing. Perfect!
