Came in with only 1/3 of the lights working. Hopefully replacement will have me loving it the way I expect. For this price it should be bug free.

7 distinct lighting zones and mounts to an OLED TV without too much effort. Would be nice if it could work better independent of Sync box - it can do basic colors with Hue app, but no special effects. Expensive for an Ambilight solution but very cool effects when it's working

it open up a whole new level of immersion. Even if your are not using a sync box you can set it to soft or natural white light in the background when watching movies. it reduce eye stain and make movie watching more fun. build quality is solid. I been using it for almost 7 months without any issues. the app is very responsive and you almost have unlimited choices of colors. even if your are not watching TV, you can turn the light on with your computer app and sync it to the music. the light change and response to every beat of the music and creates a very enjoyable atmosphere. when ever I have friends over they all love the lights.

Let's start with the obvious: This thing is expensive. Is it worth the price though? That's really up to you. If you are going to sync this with your computer or your TV (using the Sync box, which is sold separately), then I would say it absolutely is. I've watched a few movies with the lights synced and it definitely makes them feel more dynamic. Some people will say it's distracting, but if you won't pick the most extreme settings then it's generally nice and subtle.

It’s very nicely package when you receive it very easy to set up. Although the strips for the size of the tv isn’t much. I put the 75inch light strip on my 75 inch tv and it only managed to cover half my tv, mostly the top and a bit on the sides. I did expect it to go all the way around but it doesn’t cover the bottom. I also think for the price I wish I would have waited only because they are coming out with many more affordable fairly priced light strips that do the same and sync to the tv color imagines. Other then that for the most part they work very nicely with an exception of adding more lights towards the bottom.

My wife wanted this and I was on the fence about it. I was wrong. This makes the new TV so much cooler, it adds to the immersion sensation when watching shows and movies. Plus it gets you in to the Philips Hue ecosystem which is pretty neat. Takes some setup to get it configured, but after it is set it works flawlessly, so cool. If you want to up your home theater game, get it.

I remember when the strips we’re thin little 3m tape flimsy stickies. this is so much better! what an upgrade!! It takes just a few minutes a little longer if you’re tv is a little larger as we had to take it down from the wall mount. But applying the mounts and sticking it on was effortless. So easy to do and the strips/lights are as vibrant as ever!

I am a bit of a Philips Hue nut. So as soon as this option became available to replace the three play bars I had mounted to the back of my TV, I jumped at it. Can't say enough of how easy to install and use the gradient strip. Being able to do more than one color is amazing and truly creates some amazing visuals. It's pricey but I don't regret it.

Awesome colors. Kinda difficult to setup with the Sync box but I blame the box, not the lights. After a couple of weeks the adhesive came off my TV and I haven’t figured out what I’m gonna do to fix it yet, sad.

Surprisingly cool but a real difficult install to say the least. We have an older Bose soundbar and our HDMIs run through the wall so that they are hidden. Oh, and by the way, you NEED the HDMI box as well as this strip in order for all this to work - that is another $200 or so. So before you get into this, make sure you are willing to spend $450 for some pretty lights behind the tv. Having said that, I would say that it is! That is officially nuts! At any rate, back to the HDMI, you will need the latest cables 2.0 and above for this to work right. And the app is confusing. We had a Chromecast Google TV setup. You have to plug that into the Philips Sync box and then run a line OUT to the TV. If you do that it will see the active HDMI port. It doesn't recognize lines in. For the soundbar to work, you have to then run an ARC HDMI cable out of the tv to the soundbar. If all that is done, you get some pretty amazing light shows. Its interesting for maybe the first day or two and then you really don't care anymore.

Excellent light strip. Best when paired with Philips Sync box for 250 million varied colors interacting with screen output. Totally pleased but be warned expensive combo and DOES NOT SYNC with smart TV (streamers) output. Does however sync perfectly if utilizing AppleTV.

I wish this would have been available when i set up the first light strip around my other TV system. It’s a lot easier to set up and it’s ability to provide multiple colors in one light strip is awesome. Only drawback is the cost.

The Philips Hue Strip Light is a game-changer for ambiance. It's easy to install, thanks to the adhesive backing, and the range of colors and brightness levels is impressive. The app control is seamless, allowing you to set the perfect mood or adjust lighting remotely. While a bit pricey, the quality and versatility make it a worthwhile investment for transforming any space into a vibrant and dynamic environment.

Awesome for large PC monitors, though I’m not sure it’s worth it for a television unless you’re hooked up to a PC. The box needed to use dynamic lights does not support 4K at 120hz, so it is expensive and outdated. Without the box, this is just another hue light strip, so keep that in mind. I use it in my LG C48 OLED which I use as a PC monitor and this thing is great. Very reactive to what’s onscreen using just the Hue sync app.

The price is steep so if your looking for a good discount go open box. The lights are great although be aware theres no coverage of the bottom. So I added a lightbar to my tv stand and the back of my tv.

The hue play hub currently is required if you want to turn an HDMI signal into RGBCT goodness via this Hue Strip. BUT if you already have a PC you can simply download the Hue app, and use your PC’s resources to make this Hue Strip react to both on screen colors or audio with low latency. Regardless of using this for it’s intended purpose, I would have boughten this Hue Strip even without the live color changing features. It is incredibly bright and primarily turned on behind my TV displaying just solid colors.
