These lights are okay but they are a little awkward to place in a room. The cords are hard to hide. I noticed that they click after you turn them off. Other than that they work great.

Super lame, cheap construction. Needs a $250 add on to get full potential. You can buy the same quality stuff at the 5 and dime lol. It would be ok for $20-30. But $170 is stupid. A $20 light strip behind the tv is about as good. Don’t wast the money.

Setup went okay. But then when we went to use it found that music or movie or whatever needs to go through a computer running their program and weren't set up for that

My wife and I absolutely love the Phillips Hue Play light bars. I attached one on each side of our 65” TV (via the 3M sticky squares) and it looks great!! We use it with the hue camera app (along with two blooms) when watching movies or when I play video games....so immersive!! Also, it’s been over 6 weeks and so far, no problems whatsoever. I’ll update this entry should that assessment change, but so far, so good. We’re thrilled!!

This kit was great to expand my house hue setup and use these behind my entertainment center but it would have been nice to just buy a set of 3 since the power adapter supports it anyway. Color mixing is pretty good on them.

I bought these to have something to light up behind my TV. This works perfectly. I wish there was an app to download on my smart TV to get the lights to work w/ TV shows but, I assume that will come at a later date once more people buy these. The only way to get it to work is hooking up your laptop via HDMI just to get the background lighting to sync with whatever you're watching. Otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars. I own a house full of Hue bulbs and light strips. They work flawlessly and work w/ Amazon Echo. Can't go wrong. Pricey? Yes! I just wait for a sale or coupon code to pop up in my email. Cheers!

Was disappointed it didn’t not come with the controller. $160 bucks and no controller ?

DONT be fooled by this box or the text (and best buy staff HAVE NO IDEA) but if you want this to correctly work and sync with your TV you need a 225$ hub.. its ridiculous so save your money and dont buy it.

The lights are good they work great, love they work independently from each other, and that they can be connected using the Xbox app on the computer and have ambient light for the games played on the Xbox.

Easy set up and the app works well with the lights getting the right colors and tones.

The title says it all. So unbelievably frustrating. Lights were great, just has a terrible coil whine.

This isn't as compatible or easy as it should be. Doesn't work with just the TV alone, depends on another device to be used, so if planning to use apps from TV, won't work.

The lights were bright and nice looking, however they kept dropping the chroma synchronization with my razer products. Decided it wasn't worth it.

Easy setup and quality built, but for me didn't give off much light nor have a good coverage area. I returned and prefer the light strips.

not as bright as id like for the price. but they do work as intended. probably will buy a third to achieve the lighting I want on my desk

These just didn’t work well for my needs. They only illuminate directly behind them. I wanted lights to illuminate mor of the area behind the television.

I thought these lights were going to be a little bit bigger, but they aren’t. They do their job and create a beautiful backlight when gaming.

This light system looks great behind our tv. -------------------------

cool idea , not as easy to use as you wood think the hue bridge doesn't connect as easily as one wood think otherwise the lights are a very cool accent

great product easy to setup and love the effects with aftermarket apps
