Works with Alexa excellently. I use them with lighting and background lighting, and they both are tremendous.

100% satisfied. Using only for soft white lighting and they work great. If you’re only using it for white lighting, can connect to an Amazon Alexa to use. You don’t have to buy a bridge unless you want to change colors
Who needs an overpriced Hue LED for cinema quality

Don’t wait for that eternally out of stock, particularly pricy Hue brand ambient LED back-lighting for your TV. They little babies produce plenty of light for your 75” or smaller television to bask in. +++++

I like the concept and the quality, but this stuff is SO overpriced. Always wait for sale or deal of the day before I add to my setup. Great software and configurability.

Really like how the lights look. However they don’t seem to work with the Hue scenes and change color through the scene. Also kinda bummed that I need to drop another $200+ for the HDMI box to integrate with what’s on the TV. Would have been nice if it was built into the unit.

I like the idea of the Philips Hue. These lights add a different dimension to TV viewing.I highly recommend them. I have the two lights on each side of my Samsung Q90 75" , I will be adding a third to the top of the TV.

I use the HUE system throughout my home, and especially in my tv room set up.. I have these on the back of my tv, and its works AWESOME!!! I have them set up to the hue sync box, and it is a great addition to the theater experience

Purchased for my gaming setup. Links up easily to hue app on pc and will go in sync with any games, music, or movies you watch. It's a cool way to enhance your entertainment experience, whatever that may be.

These are awesome lights that added on to my already wide array of Phillips Hue products. Had some issues with my guaranteed shipping date and them showing up a week late but it was over the holidays and we had a winter storm so I couldn't get too upset

Bought these to try out with my home theatre setup and ended up really liking the ambient light. Being able to connect it to things like Alexa or HomeKit is great. You will need the Bridge for these, however. Despite Philips Hue being a little more expensive than many competitors, I am planning to purchase another set of these.

If you've got the extra money lying around and you have a Bridge and/or Sync Box to connect these to, go for it. Otherwise, I can't really recommend unless you're just looking for some ambience.
There's not much to say about these other than they are lights. I can sync them with my music and my movies and my games, but they're really just lights. I love them, they're fun to play with and the color spectrum feels full. However, the software and hardware to make them work is where most of the cost should be, but these lights are more than the equipment needed to make them work a lot of the time. It feels underdeveloped, like I should be able to do more with them on their own, but you really can't unless you've got a Sync Box or a Bridge.

I bought the Philips - Hue Play White & Color Ambiance Smart LED Bar Light (2-Pack) - Multicolor. It is cool I have it behind my TV. The sync with the TV is really cool, it just took a while to tweak it to account for the delay via chromecast.
