I've got alot of different hue lights. Got this for outside to decorate for different holidays. So far so good. Nice and bright, different colors. Easy set up especially if you're already a hue light user

The Phillips Hue lights are excellent. Once setup they are a joy to use. Light quality and intensity cannot be matched. They are very expensive though. Great with the sync box.

Hue lights for monitors or tv’s, good color range as well as multiple mounting options. For tv it is best paired with the over priced hue sync hdmi box, for monitors there is a app to help sync the color palette with what’s on your screen. The app is acceptable not great or horrible, but Philips can do better.. I see the hubris of Sony with the hue ecosystem but have hope that someone at the company will wake up and turn things around before competitors do better.

This bundle is definitely cheaper than buying it all separate but setting it up is super easy, lights can get pretty bright and the app makes it very easy to control.

The Hue Play kit works so much better with my gaming computer than I ever expected it would! The lights were easy to mount behind my monitor and sync perfectly with games and videos. The effect really makes for a more fun, immersive experience. Plus, I've not noticed any significant effect on game performance (the Sync application uses about 5% of CPU). When not playing a game, I enjoy choosing some nice colors to set the mood. Set up was slightly complex but not hard, and everything worked smoothly. Just follow the instructions, and make sure to create an Entertainment Area in the Hue app--that's the key to getting sync to work.

Lights were easy to set up and connect to services like Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple. The coolest features, like syncing the light color with time of day (turning the light less blue), were hidden behind the labs feature accessible only via browser. Hope they add that to the main app at some point. The adhesive is strong, and I was able to reposition it a few times behind the TV, but would probably need to order replacement adhesive from somewhere if I need to move these lights somewhere else. It should be noted that the light bridge has to be connected via ethernet, not WiFi, so make sure you can place it next to your router and you have a free port.

Great way to add some glow behind the tv. Added with the sync hue box it makes watching movies AMAZING. Highly recommend. Homekit is also the best way to use your Smart home devices.

I have these lights setup behind the TV, and they do not disappoint. These lights are super fun, easy to control, and make any movie just that much better with movie theater lighting.

I was always unsure about Philips Hue I thought to myself how can lights be so expensive and I always opted for the generic variance online once I finally decided to purchase I was amazed Philips Hue has taken lighting and quality to a whole different level they are worth every penny the cheaper variants do not even compared to them at all their bright vivid and have so many full features that you could not even imagine coming up with I am a Philips Hue fan for life I have Philips Hue now throughout my entire house this is a must buy product worth every penny not that I wish it wasn't a little cheaper LOL #jbtechfanatic

It’s so cool! It works well with Siri, and you can program it to come on / off whenever you want. Works with Home app. Bright colors. Makes my room so much more fun.

Lets be clear, once your buy your first hue light you keep buying more. this was my first hue purchase and now own the light strip (indoor and outdoor) 4 bulbs and soon will be getting the light strip/HDMI module for the TV. its fun to use these and set the different scenes. you can setup routines for set times or turn on/off when you are away (based on GPS of your connected device) or when you come home. Nice thing is you can control any light (hue bridge required) when you are away. These are bright enough (you can also set the dim limit) to replace your standard light bulbs.

Perfect way to complete my movie/gaming experience!!!! Pairs well with Alexa and the app is easy to use. Was able to grab both lights and bridge in starter kit. What a great sale

Was using a web based setup to sync my hue lights with my PC but this made it extremely easy. The lights themselves are bright and easy to setup just like other hue products.

These lights are amazing so far. I use them sitting on my entertainment center pointed at the wall at an angle away from the TV on both sides. I use them for a timed night light, a room ambient light and have a movie setting for them in the app. App works great and I also use Alexa to turn them on and off and set brightness(I just don't use the "skill" to change color) Since I also have a gaming PC hooked to my main TV, I use the PC app as well, so far it has been pretty cool, but I look at that as a bonus as I more cared about the backlight to the tv to give the picture more contrast, which so far I really like the effect.

Easy to use, easy to set up, and can light up dimly or shine very brightly. Can also be controlled and set up and calibrated easily with the mobile app.

I have many Hue products including the smart bridge, 8x color A19 bulbs, 4x white ambiance A19 bulbs, 5x soft white bulbs, 2x hue gos, 4x White BR30 bulbs, 2x dimmer switches, 1x tap switch, 2x outdoor motion sensors, and 2x indoor motion sensors. I pair it with amazon echos and google hubs and Apple HomeKit. This product is a wonderful addition to my Hue system. The colors are pretty good and can paint a white wall with bright colorful lights. I also use it with my PC to synchronize onscreen with my PC gameplay which is a really great effect.

Beautiful lights for any room, but especially for the game/entertainment room! The lights truly add to any display, perfect for year-round anything. For the holidays, Hue Labs has pre-made light routines that make any set of decorations extra special. If this is your first time buying the lights, make sure to also purchase the Hue Starter Kit (the white square box), as you won't be able to change colors on the hue lights without it. I made the mistake of almost buying these lights without that starter kit, and I would have been gravely disappointed.

Hue lights are an expensive habit to start. And it is just that, a habit. You'll get addicted to spreading the hue lights out throughout your home. But especially when you have a TV that has some room behind it. The Playbar is perfect for the Hue Sync Box, but even without it you can set the scene behind your TV that can bounce off the wall and spread light throughout your TV room. They're excellent. And the hue system in general is easy to set up and is very reliable. Sure, it could be closer to perfect, but I've been with hue products for a long time and have not had issues.

This Hue Play Starter Kit is great for anyone wishing to add accent lights and haven't setup any Hue lights before, as it's got the Hue Bridge included, and everything else you need to set these lights up and be able to control on your phone, tablet, or computer. I don't use the TV sync functions, as I don't have the separate hue sync tv box, but they work great for accent lights behind or underneath the TV on a TV stand. I already had a set of these behind another TV, and wanted to use these again in lieu of the Hue strip lights as they're a bit easier to use and look great.
