Set these up in our home theater behind the TV. Really steps it up a notch and truly creates whatever ambiance you want. Worth it. Creates a cool vibe and makes whatever’s on the TV really pop. Love this play starter kit with the hub. Seems like no one else sells this exact kit. Glad I found it.

I have several other philips hue bulbs. This was on sale and although the price was a little high still I bit the bullet and I have to admit I love these. I used the included mounts and have them on my center console but will eventually hang on the back of my tv. They are worth it!

Man, these suckers rock! They really have brightened up my living room placed behind tv and also added another dimension for the lights when using the various color features. The play bars really have me stoked to get the box one of these days to pair up my lights with video on the screen.

Easy to set up, and a smooth system overall. It has some glitches during use, but these light changes are minor and are easily overridden by manual settings. In general, they make the watching/gaming experience more immersive, and they're just cool.

The TV and the pictures on the mantel look awesome with these new accent lights! I love having them set to a soft warm glow at about 30% brightness and leave them on all the time! The firmware updates take forever though, at almost one hour each device and they go one at a time!

Not ideal for putting the back of your TV a lot of dead space I eventually obtained the hue lights instead. However they do provide great light, and look great for behind possibly a computer or a gamer room. I mainly received it because it was a great price and came with the $50 gift card, couldn't beat that value.

Set up for my mother. She was reluctant but now speaks ro Alexa and thanks her... she was raised to be polite. Compared to cheaper bulbs these are quick and easy to setup. Particularly when using multiple bulbs in a single fixture.

Very easy to use and set up with the hub. Once up and running, very low maintenance and just works, especially with the remote switch. I have these lights placed above the hutch on my desk and can change the mood of the room with the press of the button. Highly recommended!

Set up in less than 5 min. With the hue play starter kit and the Hue Stream app on my Android tv without having to get the sync box and it works great! I was hesitant because of the price of Philips but I found this at best buy for $100 and it came with a $50 BB gift card!

This set of Hue lights work just like all other Hue lights. It has what seems like an infinite amount of color variations. It is a bit pricey for a stand-alone set of lights however if you're deeply rooted into the Hue ecosystem it will be an exciting addition.

Fairly easy to set up and syncs well with my windows 10 pc. My only complaint is that the wires are right next to the screwholes when trying to attach the play bar to the stand in a vertical position. You kind of have to jam the wire into the base station. Otherwise 10/10.

Bright and versatile. Instead of mounting them on the back of the TV, I had them on my entertainment stand. It is because I have a swivel TV mount and when the TV is pulled out at an angle, the light won’t hit the wall directly so it is not as bright.

Use this with my bedroom gaming PC, and I like to keep the lights in my room off generally as the light coming from my monitor is usually more than enough. Having the room lights on additionally kind of hurts my eyes. However, using this set in a dark room with just the natural light of my gaming monitors (dual monitor set-up) gives just the right amount of light. This thing can get plenty bright (probably brighter than you'll ever need), and the software is awesome and easy to use. I love that it can synchronize the light for everything I use this computer for (gaming, listening to music, and videos). You can even adjust each one with different "equalizer-type" presets and color settings you induce a different atmosphere or ambiance for each activity you plan to sync with your lights (cool strobe colors for music listening and color matching backdrops for whatever is showing on your main monitor's screen at the time). Be advised though that this will only sync off of what is showing up on your main monitor, not any side monitors you may have installed.

My introduction to the Philips Hue ecosystem. Easy to follow installation guide as well as app integration for mobile and computer. Makes watching movies or HD TV so much better! Will be expanding my Hue collection in the future.

It's ok. Expensive for what it is. Power wires could be longer. Every once in a while I hear clicking from them. Like the led strip better. Should have more adhesive pads. If I could get it cheaper id recommended them. But not suggested retail.

Got this so we can have a nice family room / Gaming room. The lights work well when sync with a laptop and music mode for parties. When not using the pc to sync controlling over wifi is easy and can help set the mood while watching moives or playing games.

This is a great way to start if you're looking to add lighting to any room. It was easy to set up with the instructions, and once it's set up it fills the room and changes the environment completely! Can't wait to add more, I would seriously recommend buying

I got the hue lights for the back of my tv. They came with the bridge which is required for set up. The process was easy. However, the adhesive did not stick well to the tv. Ended up buying the hue strip instead. Will probably use these for something else.

I set this up around my desk where my computer is and it's really sleek. Bring nice brightness and it feels less depressing when I play games. I also have the Phillips hue light bulbs and those are nice is well. I recommend this product to anyone

I LOVE THESE! I highly recommend these. I am waiting on the rod ones they have been working on for awhile. Once you do the bridge on your first set add more lights is so easy! I even have the sensor when someone walks down stairs and they turn on.
