Easy to install, no batteries needed! Took less than five minutes to get integrated with my system

Having hue lights installed in a ceiling fan that normal shares a common switch on the wall this switch is great, can easily leave fan on when turning light off. Have one in hall between two rooms and control both with one switch.

15 mins! The time it took me to take the package into my office and start controlling the lights in 2 different rooms. And the time it took my kids to figure out it was me controlling the light shows in the TV room. Priceless!!

Item works great, my bedroom doesn't have lights in the ceiling so I use the lamps. The Hue remote switch works perfectly with my hue bulbs. I keep the switch right where a normal light switch would go on a wall. Great item.

This thing is great. It's nice to not use my phone to control my Hue lights. Easy to set up and use and no batteries.

Very much needed for any hue setup, this remote is super convenient. The standard Hue app only allows one setting per button, but I'm using iConnectHue on iOS which allows for four settings per button -- more than enough!

This is great to have in our bedroom. The three settings (4th one is for OFF) can be programmed to your liking and make controlling your hue lights faster and more convenient! I don't always have time to pull out my phone when I'll just be in the room for a short period of time. This gives the functionality of a light switch but with the neat perks of hue lights. Everyone using hue lights NEEDS this remote!

The product was easy to setup and does not require batteries. I was up in running in about 5 minutes.

Fairly expensive, for a button, but it's always connected to the Hue bridge. Meaning it should be ready to respond to any button you press. I'd been looking to get one of these for some time now and so far I'm liking it. Wall/table mount with 3M adhesive strips or you can bolt it to a wall or piece of furniture. Remove the button from the mount and take it with you around your house. I'm mostly using it as a switch to set my lights in the morning as I get out of bed.

Easy to install, setup, and use. Only complaint is I don't remember what light I programmed the button to so, the only feedback would be to have a way to label or identify which button goes to which light without having to go into the app to review. Otherwise, I have to hit each button until the light comes on. Takes some getting used to but the device itself works great and is easy to use. Makes it easier for kids to turn on lights without a phone.

This Is Perfect Just For The Fact That It Doesn't Require Batteries And Also Once You Put It On The Wall You Are Able To Detach It And Use It As A Remote This Will Be A Great Addition To Your Hue Lights

Hue is an outstanding light system. However,here are frequent times when you want to turn the lights on or off without using your iPhone or iPad. Enter Hue Tap! Using kinetic energy, now a simple press, and Hue is on or off! This is a necessary addition to any Hue Lighting set-up. The kinetic energy design is a first, and is appropriate, considering Hue is an energy saving LED light system. Hue Tap can sit on a table, mount on a wall, so the versatility is excellent. If I could change anything, I would add the ability to change color on the fly directly from Tap, but you have the ability to control light scenes, which work well.

The tap is a good add on to have up to 4 settings that you really like. I think it should have more settings saved but 4 is what you get.

I was looking for a way to control my hue lights when I didn't have my cell phone on me and the Hue Tap is exactly what I wanted! I have a tap in each of my rooms and have 3 light scenes set for each room! Bravo to Philips Hue for thinking of this idea! The only thing I would recommend is a normal rectangle shaped tap controller or at least a face plate shaped this way! Great product overall!!

This is a great way to add a physical switch to the Hue system. The fact that it does not need an external power source or batteries helps make it a 'no-brainer'. My only gripe (and the reason for 4 vs 5 stars) is that the individual buttons cannot be assigned to control different devices (like you can with other Hue switches).

Setup was simple and easy. A quick glance at the instructions and was ready to go. Overall it works as advertised. Only reason I couldnt give it a 5 star rating was its a little finnicky. Have to press the buttons 2 or 3 times on many occasions. Has never failed to work but would be nice to only press buttons once. I like that its portable. Comes in handy. Must have for Hue owners.

I like this but love the dimmer switch better. Had I hadn't gotten that first this would have been great.
