Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the Hue Tap Switch, particularly its ease of use and convenient access compared to the app. Users appreciate the ability to configure buttons for favorite scenes and the product's versatility. A notable advantage is its battery-free operation, relying on kinetic energy, which eliminates the need for replacements and ensures continuous functionality as long as the lights and hub are powered.

I stuck it on the bedframe above my pillow and it works great there. I like that it doesn't take batteries, its a great idea and works well. I have some of the other smart switches and I do like the options it provides, but this is a good and basic switch to leave mounted somewhere. it costs less than the others as well.

Works great! No more fumbling for my phone in the dark to open the Hue App. This unit stores three light scenes of your choosing plus the lights on/off option. Really handy for our darkened TV viewing area.

I bought this because I've had issues accessing the bridge at times but it is expensive for no more than I use it. I probably am expecting more of a remote control experience but that is what the app is for right! Like with a lot tech these days there is little in the way of instructions so you have to get familiar with it.

Philips Hughes discontinued this but I have two of these in my home and I wish I would have bought a third. Maybe even a 4th they are very convenient.

Liked the idea but the buttons were somewhat clunky. I ended up selling it to a friend to try it. I ended up just using the app more then anything when I did have it. Still looking for the right switch at some point

Much more prefer the dimmer switch. This thing is awkward to hit the different buttons. Too much force needed for a child’s room.
