If you use a PAR16 or similar size medium base accent light, I highly recommend this bulb! I switched the accent lights on my office curio with these. Set timers for different colors with times of the day. The colors are beautiful & are a perfect match to the other Hue bulbs. These bulbs gave new life to office furniture that everybody notices! Hue products are easy and fun I would recommend them

This is one of the few Hue products I don't already own, so I didn't read reviews before buying it. The first thing that struck me is how "defined" the spot is. It throws a sharp, focused circle of light. If you don't aim it carefully, it looks odd. I don't mind that it's not as bright as A19's (actually I didn't even notice), but I DO mind that it can't do all colors!

I am slowly building my Hue "library" of color through out the house. This little guy is perfect for pendant fixture over the sink ...timer and dimmer for morning coffee.

Even though the box and the bulb said it had the color hue, Alexa read it as white only. Solved the issue and it's working properly.

Great lighting option, endless colors and simple setup

While they are not as powerful as the standard Hue lights, these lights work perfectly in track or recessed lighting. This gives you the ability to individual color and dim each light in a track. Plus you can save scenes and quickly change from colored to white.

I was thrilled to death to see HUE add PAR16 bulbs to their color collection! I’ve added one to each of my curio cabinets, set daily changes of color, and it’s a perfect blend to the HUE portfolio. Highest recommendation!

I bought a pair of these to use as up-firing accent lights behind my front standing speakers. The were a little dimmer than my other Hue lights, and curiously they cast blue-green colors as white. Green is fine. Blue is fine. But as I move between the two colors in the app, both lights shine white. I own several different Hue bulb models (regular, candle, strips, flood), and they all cover this range. Maybe I have two that are broken exactly the same way, or maybe I should have bought a different bulb. I'd pass on these and wait for a newer model.

This is excellent because all my glass corner stands shines with different coloured and whenever I feel like I can countrile the colours. I completely like this in our dinning area for coroner stand.

Installed these lights in a new China Hutch, the lights are compact and put out an incredible amount of multicolored light, and to be able to control remotely is a win win

Overpriced of course but they are great ! Easy to setup fun to [play with! I needed these for the small spot lights above the fireplace and they are perfect for effects!

I have several of these bulbs from Philips and they work great even after 5 years. The new ones seem to provide even better color and control.

My whole house is Hue - I am about to add strip lights to my kitchen remodel. Cant say enough how amazing these little lights are.

These are great spot lights they were a little small for where we have them but we made the work.

I was hesitant to jump in with the Hue just because of the cost, but I bought some gen1 kits on clearance. Recently price dropped and I picked up 4 of these to use as accent lights. I've been very pleased with these products and how they integrate with HomeKit.
