Many people don't give themselves an opportunity to try a product , as it is recommend by the manufacturer. I bought my first Norelco/Phillips electric razor in the early 1970's. They were very pricey and I was reluctant to spend $200 for a yet , unproved, shaver. I did what it said, used it as recommended and found that it actually saved me money over not only razor blades, shaving cream, etc, but also Time. I could shave on the way to work when I was running late, or Freshen up during the day. My first one lasted about 20 years, after battery replacements...there were no Great batteries back then, so it took some battery replacements. . I just change now every three years now, rather than buy replacement blades. Keep them clean, charge the battery as required and shave away. Both of my adults son's also swear by them.

This was a replacement for a Philips Norelco shaver that I've used for a long time. It's fairly quiet, comfortable to use, and quickly does an excellent job. At a discounted price, it was a great buy.

Shaver is extremely quiet; good for sensitive ears. Gives a very close shave when using Electric Shave. Has a good feel to the shaver; can be used dry or wet (shaving cream). I am pleased.

Got this as a gift for my boyfriend. He said he really likes it overall compared to his last one but complains that it does not shave as close as he would like it to or thinks it should.

My husband has tried several different shavers over the years and never really liked any of them. He always ended up using it once or twice and then stashing them away. He uses this one all tha time and loves it. It says how smooth it works and how handy the size is.

I must have a pop-up trimmer for my beard and I love the rechargeable feature. Since this shaver replaced a Norelco that was over 25 years old and still working good except for the need to charge it after 4 or 5 shaves, of course, I was going to buy the same brand.
