I have used Phillips Norelco shavers for over 20 years and love them. They give a close shave and are very quiet. A full charge will last me for over a month of shaves. I highly recommend these shavers.

This Norelco razor is a good quality razor at a good price point. I wanted a change from the Braun razors I had in the past. It works well and clean up is easy.

Pretty much just grabbed a mid priced norelco, the brand I am used to. My last one made it 14 years before giving out. Love the detachable head, and seems like there is more power. Keeps a charge for at least a couple of weeks. Decently priced.

Just when I thought the technology with electric shavers had reached its peak--I was wrong. This shaver follows the contours of the face and holds a charge extremely well. It's wet or dry, which is a plus.

Overall, this product is an upgrade from the previous model along with being a trustworthy competitor in the Beard Trimmer market. It markets itself as a long term device through durable construction and quality materials. This trimmer did not disappoint when I first received it. Everything about it felt smooth and intelligent, with the rolling wheel to adjust cutting lengths being a comfortable way to change for a more accurate trim. The blades themselves cut through a full beard with ease, along with little need for cleaning along the way. After the first initial charge, I have yet needed to recharge it after six full uses. This makes it ideal for long business trips where access to conventional electrical sockets may be unavailable. While feeling lighter than I had expected it to be, the materials of its construction have a quality feel to them. I did drop it on the bathroom floor accidentally on more than one occasion and saw little to no damage outside of cosmetic scratches. This gives me confidence in the trimmers ability to take a beating over time and makes me feel better about the price point. I do wish that there was access to the power switch on the reverse side, as the direction of trimming limits your thumbs access to quickly and comfortably shut off of the device. While it`s not difficult to turn it over in hand to turn it off, it does take away from the one-handed ease of use they were trying to achieve.

Works like a champ. I never had an electric or even considered one but I figured I'd try it and boy it did not disappoint. Give a nice close shave and battery life is good, quiet too

I have used Philips Norelco shavers for decades and the last one gave up the ghost after years of excellent use. Read reviews online and the 5100 seemed a good replacement. Have used it now for three weeks and it is excellent. Easy to clean and use. I am very happy with it.

The older model had more cutting openings, two rows. This gave me a closer shave in less time. Over all I'm happy with the purchase.

I was able to purchase this near Christmas for one heck of a deal. Over 50% off the normal price. This is the first Norelco of this quality that I’ve ever owned. It shaves great, cleans easily and is nice and sleek looking.

From the start this shaver gave me a better shave than my old electric. Still having problems on my neck, but I've always had problems there. Stayed charged for about 14 shaves or more. Glad I didn't spend more on a different model. This one works great.

I have owned Norelco razors for many years and this is the best one by far. It gives a really close shave and you can rinse It under a hot faucet after each use which makes cleanup a breeze. The trimmer is separate and you just swap it out for the razor head, works really well. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase and have no hesitation of recommending it.

I switched to an electric shaver after 20 plus years of regular razors. This one is smooth and really gives a close shave. Works wet or dry too. Easy to clean. The only thing I don't care too much for is switching the head to use the trimming attachment. It's easy to do, but I would have liked an integrated one instead. Overall very happy!

Bought for husband and he loved it. It was ideal because he can use it wet but even more useful dry. It also comes with a trimmer that he also uses so its many uses in one tool make this a winner. Shaves smooth.

Philips Norelco - 5100 shaver works fast, smooth and comfortable. I was always leery of this type shaver being used to the old style ones but this honestly has put the last two or more Norelco shavers I bought to shame. I wasn't too sure about how I would like the trimmer being separate but it snaps on easily and also works great. i just hope it has lasting power.

Nice close shave and holds a charge for a decent amount of time. The only down side to this style of shaver is having to change heads to trim up my sideburns or clean up around the ears. I like the pop up trimmer on the other style. Not enough of an inconvenience to deduct a star as purchasing this style was my choice.
