I purchased this to replace my several year old Norelco SensoTouch 3D. The new works ok, but does not seem to be quite the quality of the old one. I was disappointed that it did not come with a charging stand like the previous one. Got what I paid for though.

Got this for Christmas so far so good. Use it about 4 days a week. Nice smooth shave, does the job.

This was my first electric face shaver that I ever owned. I finally pulled the trigger on one after years of shaving with regular blade razors would leave horrible bumps and razor burn all over my face. After the first time I used it I was amazed their were no after shave bumps and I got a lot closer of a shave than i expected, right down to the skin. I also find using the wet shave works best for me. The only reason its not a 5/5 is because I think that the trimmer that it comes with can be improved on, I find it a bit to big and cumbersome to do any real fine trimming.

Gives a good close shave. Easy to clean. Good value for the price.

I have been using Norelco shavers for a long time. This one gives me the cleanest shave ever! I haven't even needed the turbo feature. I have had no skin irritation, The trimmer attachment is easy to install and remove. Recommend this shaver.

It's quiet it's quick and it's clean. Charges very quickly as well.

The Norelco 5500 has worked flawlessly for me so far. i don't do wet shaves but the dry shaving I do has been smooth and with close shaves that are easier to achieve than with other shavers I have used. It is a lot of value for the price.

Not a bad shaver if you get it on sale. Turbo speed helps. Wouldn’t recommend if didn’t have turbo function. Wouldn’t pay full price

This razor has a long battery life.The blades are very sharp. Great value as well.

Good shaver for a close shave and for use wet or dry.

For any man who has to always look good, whether there's time for a relaxing shave in a steamy hot shower, or the shave has to be done on the fly, this is the perfect shaver for you. Wet or dry, you can always count on this electric razor for a smooth comfortable shave. Convenient and reliable, my first Norelco shaver was one of the less expensive models and it still works 5 years later. When I saw this in one in the store, I decided to treat myself and bought it on the spot.. and I'm glad I did.

I have been using a Norelco Shaver my whole life and are a great product. Only one that I do not get razor burn from and they last a long time. Every time I purchase a new one the product is always greatly improved.

This shaver cuts my beard very closely and does not irritate my skin. It is an improvement over my older Norelco shaver.

My previous razor came with a charging stand. I was always worried that plastic stand would break as baggage handlers tossed around my suitcase. This one has a wall plug & cord for stress free travel.

This razor is great for features. The booster is kind of a joke, but the battery warning is good to track when it needs to be charged. I only miss that they don't include a case with this one, and the next step up is a huge package with a case that includes a cleaning fixture that I would likely not use. Battery life is good. The head that's included is ok, though I used a premium head from an older Norelco razor I had that quit working.
