Has the usual Norelco good shave. The charging speed is quite fast, and you get a lot of shaving time on a charge. Flip-open top makes for easy cleaning under the faucet. Design flaws: On/off button is a soft-touch button placed right it is natural to place my thumb when I shave, so it tends to turn off when I'm shaving. To avoid that, I must hold the shaver in an awkward grip that makes it hard to maneuver. My old model Norelco has 3/16 inch between the cutters, while this new model has more than 5/16 inch between the cutters, as well as a sunken gap between them. When I shave my upper lip, it falls into the cavity between the cutters; which is uncomfortable. The shaver has a turbo mode, which seems to be marketed to those who think their beard is tougher than hardened sharpened steel. If the turbo speed cuts better, than why not make that the normal speed? Shaver will not run when corded. The otherwise nice travel case does not have room for the charger or the trimmer ( the trimmer is detachable, requiring the main shaving head to be removed.) I would have purchased the traditional design Norelco if I had known of these things.

Bought one for my oldest son after reading favorable reviews. He likes this razor a lot and recommended it for one of his brothers. Bought a second razor for that son. My fiance needed a razor, so guess which one I bought for him for Christmas? The one razor that gets 2 thumbs up from the men in the family! It's got an easy clean function that makes it easy for the laziest person to clean. Put in charger and it rinses it clean with the cleaning cartridges (buy extras for future uses).

My husband loves this razor. Cuts well easy to clean. Loves the self cleaning feature. Base is slightly bigger than anticipating so if counter space is tight may not be able to leave on counter. Otherwise works well

Very smooth shave with a nice charging and cleaning station. My hair grows in all directions and it gets most of them but if I let my hair get a little long I have to do some cleanup with a blade. Hence the 4 stars. But if I shave regularly it works great.

This is the second electric shaver I have owned and while leaps and bounds better than my first one, it takes just as long to shave as a regular razor but without the smoothness. I was hoping this would save me time in the morning shaving but maybe I expected too much. The best things about this shaver are the battery life, it's easy to clean, and the charging base/auto-cleaner. All in all I am happy with the purchase and when this one dies, I will buy another Phillips Norelco but will get one that's a few models up to see how well it works.

This wet/dry razor is awesome. It stays charged all week on a single charge, gives a close shave and the cleaning system is great.

I have a very coarse and tough beard. This is the best electric razor I have yet to find that can do a decent job. The only thing is, is that it takes a while if you have a tough beard.

I like that it has a self cleaning/self lubricating function. It really does seem to make the shaving smoother. I have only had this for a few days and while the shave is good it could be closer (although the manual does say it can take a few weeks before you get the best shave from the razor). I also like that I can wet shave as it causes less irritation. I would definitely recommend this one compared to the lower price models as you definitely get a better product.

For the price I paid for this I would expect a better shave I constantly find myself having to go over and over the same spot to get all the hair off of my face I do not prefer this design of a electric razor I'm not happy with how I have to spend so much time trying to shave with it I think the next electric razor I purchase will be a different design than that 3 head razor I do not recommend this for that price that I paid

I was looking to replace my old Norelco shaver and after researching several other brands, I came back this Phillips / Norelco. This shaver is very easy to setup and start using. The cleaning base is a great feature, however, it takes up a lot of counter space.

I like this shaver. I have rough contours from acne and this shaves really good I have a can of compressed air that I use to remove the hair from the blades and I use the charger and cleaner built into the charger once a week.

This is an excellent, lightweight shaver. It recharges Quicken lay and last me about a week

Best decision I made in purchasing a new razor. After shaving, my face feels so smooth. The blades hit every whisker. Glides over my face with ease. Another great feature is the self cleaning option. Put it in the station and ten minutes later, ready for the next shave.

I have owned many electric razors in my life this is the best one I have owned. The charging and cleaning stand is a fantastic part of this kit. It works just as good wet or dry I prefer to dry shave but that's just me. For the money every Man should have one.

He loves the built in auto clean in the stand. A shaver gentle on hubby'so face, yet a clean shave. Everything he wants in a shaver & he loves the self clean component in the stand. Neat & tidy on the counter.

Comfortable, clean and, easy to use; I dont grow too much hair but this one certainly lasts long; it took about 3wks for the battery charge reminder and cleaning light to show up, which is pretty good while it keeps my beard and mustache hair free

Switch from a foil type shaver to this one and I must say that this product provides a better overall shave. I like the fact that its not loud and the attachment cleans the shaver, Great product.

My son purchased this for me as birthday gift- I've been using my old Norelco shaver for over 20 years & thought it was time to upgrade. this is an amazing upgrade- very smooth-no pulling & the self-cleaning feature is very handy.

Leaves face cleanly shaved and has a nice feel to it
