I've been using this shaver for a couple of weeks now. It is way better than the entry level Philips Norelco ($35 Best Buy Black Friday deal) I bought a few years ago. It shaves closer, faster (less passes needed), and doesn't irritate my neck like the entry level one. It is pretty expensive, but I bought it on sale and used gift cards. I have yet to use the cleaning base because I do not have an outlet that is accessible near my bathroom sink. I don't like that the shaver head detaches completely from the razor to put the trimmer head on and that the parts that secure the two pieces are plastic. I have read that this can become an issue in a short amount of time, especially considering the premium price of this shaver.

I've used norelco shavers for many years. My last one died after 9 years. I was hesitant to spend the money for this but I'm glad I did. It's the closest shave I've ever gotten from an electric. The cleaning system is great. A fresh shave every time.

The computèr is small and easy to carry. Works well for my daughter.

This is the best Norelco shaver I have ever had and I have have several over the last 45 years. The cleaning system makes maintenance a snap. It is easy to use and clean. This keeps the shaver in tip top shape. Rotary is the only way to go.

Super shaver. Gives very smooth shave right out of the box, don’t even need any water or shaving lotion. Cleaning unit and cleaning fluid work excellently. Easy to care for. Additional trimmer unit also works perfectly. No complaints at all.

The shaver gives a close shave and has good battery life. The cleaning device does not clean well and the touch operation does not always work. This shaver should be sold without the cleaner. I do like the shaver.

Great shaver! Gives a very close shave. Only gripe I have is for the price I wish it came with a complete kit. I.e adjustable beard trimming guard, noise trimmer etc. All in all I love it!

Really good feelings of high-tech and really easy to use. After using just let it clean itself and do not need to do anything. Only the cleaning needs like 15 mins, which is a little long but acceptable. Relatively quiet.

The Philips Norelco gives a clean and close shave. It is easy to handle. and comes with great cleaning instructions and accessories. I thoroughly enjoy this super razor.

pretty close shave for electric razor. closer than my older braun 7 series.

Second one of the same model. Last one lasted about 4 years. Great shave, fast and efficient. Only drawback is the trimmer is not attached.

I'm pretty happy to have purchased a new PHILIPS NORELCO razor during the holidays. I just started using it and so far so good. The last PHILIPS NORELCO razor that I purchased must have been at least 10 years ago and will still charge up to 132 minutes! The only problem over time is that part of the razor head was being held together by scotch tape (after a fall a while ago) and the recharging cord is so old that most of the plastic coating, around the wires themselves, have flaked off over time...but it still fully charges the razor to 126 - 132 minutes. It's incredible! I can only hope this razor lives up to the one that I'm finally "retiring".

Bought for two users so it gets plenty of use. Long battery life and does the job well for nearly daily shaving. Seems best for lighter jobs.
