Very good shaver for beginer. Easy to use, clean and travel. The smartclean system works good. But, however, just consider the price, 300$ for a shaver.

I got this shaver for my son and it is so easy for him to use and to keep clean. The shaver shaves smooth and comfortably and the system makes it so easy to clean, just push a button.

Top of the line that gives a smooth shave. I previously owned a 7500 model. I believe the 9700 is an improvement, however an individual must make up their own mind vs the cost. I like the extra mode for the charger as it has a drying mode which I believe cuts down corrosion. The blades are state of the art!

Good but not great for the money I was expecting this shaver to be awesome for the money but my old shaver that was 80$ is just is good

This is the best electric shaver I have used. The construction is of high quality, and it shaves very close yet leaves the skin feeling good, unlike a cartridge razor or other electrics. The rotary blade design of the Philips Norelco is far superior to the foil razors of other brands.

I first was disappointed in this shaver, it did not petform as I thought it should. After learning more and playing with it I found it is does perform as I had hoped it would. It is not a simple process to make it perform as it should, but once you learn enough it is a great performer on an old mans rough beard.

I have used the Phillips Norelco 9700 for about a month now - It is a great improvement over the older model I used. Love the cleaning system and the shaver is compatible with my old beard trimmer. Couldn't be happier!

I had to buy a new shaver because my old one's battery died. I have to use a pre-electric shaver for this to work at its best.

I have had Norelco for more than 40 years. This is by far the best one I have ever had. Several things different from my older models concerned me at first, but after a week using it I am very pleased with this product.
