Got this to replace my old Norelco shaver that is 8 years old. I considered one of the more expensive Norelco shavers (200+) but in the end it seemed like they are more of a status symbol then a vastly superior shaver. This one is close to my old one in features and price but it is quieter, shaves more quickly, shaves more quietly, and runs longer on a charge.

The Philips Norelco 4100 Shaver is a great value for a rechargeable shaver. It works well on my admittedly less than tough beard and I love the fact that you can clean it easily by holding it under running water. It typically lasts a couple of weeks between charges.

Does not shave as close as a blade, but the best electric that I have used. Great for a quick touch up. Very quite and more than 15 uses between charges. Very good trimmer. HVe used this exclusively for over 1 month.

I gave it only a 4 star rating because I have only used it for 3 weeks. Ask me again in 6 months, although this is my second Philips Norelco shaver and very pleased with my first purchase. That was my first rotary shaver and I was a Braun purchaser for many years (4 shavers, non-rotary). Again, great shaver for the price.

Got this item as a gift to myself! Purchased this on black firday and has been an essential tool in my grooming kit. The battery life is great and the results are fantastic. I would recommended to any gentlemen out there who is looking for a good electric shaver to had to the man grooming kit.

Very good razor. Better than model 3000 series. Bad thing is that you can not use it while plugged in, which will force you to buy a new one when the battery does not work.

What can I say about this device, it is what it is, if your a 1st time user of shavers expect for some irritation which is normal for people when they 1st use a shaver, but with normal use and after shave lotion or balm you will be alright and then you will begin to enjoy how great this shaver is, and I have been using Philips Norelco brand for years, and I can tell you it's a great brand and shaver, like I said if your a 1st time user of shavers it's normal to for your face to get irritated when your using it, just be patient.

I don't have much experience with electric razors but thought this one have a good shave for the money. It's easy to use and gives a good quick shave. I also like the fact that I can use shaving cream instead only dry shave.

This is one of many electric razors I have used. I usually use the flat head razors because they tend to give a cleaner shave for my skin type. This razor has given the flat head razors a run for their money. It is very quiet, and the charge has lasted for a decent amount of time (2-3 weeks of daily use). I have not used it wet. I have thick daily stubble. I would not try to use this on 2 day stubble. It is definitely a good razor for the price.

Great razor for the price. Gets the job done and doesn't irritate my skin like some razors I have had. I like the fact that it is usable IN the shower and the (sideburn/mustache) trimmer works well. I have had absolutely NO problems with this razor, and would buy his brand/model again.

I shave my head and beard every day. The battery easily lasts through the entire procedure. Cleanup is a breeze; rinse it out, shake it a bit to get excess water off, then plug it in and go. It doesn't shave as close as a blade, but it doesn't cut the top of my head open either, so it's worth it.

I almost bought a $400 shaving kit a friend was telling me was really great. That may be true, but I doubt it could be 10 times better than the shave I get from my Norelco. This is the third Norelco I have owned, and they keep getting better; I got this one for about the price of replacing the batteries in my old one. It shaves close and is comfortable. I don't need pre-shave lotlions or messy shaving cream. It easily lasts for twenty-four hours without any hassles. Good Deal!

I have very thick hair and this product works great in between shaves. It also holds a great charge and I like that you can just rinse it in order to clean in out. If you're not looking to spend a lot of money this is the product to buy!

I don't have a lot of experience with electric shavers. I think I've only purchased two in my lifetime. Regardless, this shaver does exactly what I think all electric shavers should do: Make it easy, short, and simple to shave your face EVERY DAY. I emphasized the last part because over the course of the last year, when working from home became the norm, I'd let myself go several days (sometimes a week) without a shave. At first, it didn't bother me. I figured I'd enjoy a break from the old routine and dabble in the more rebellious side. But as the days, turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months, I found that the lack of shaving was having a detrimental impact on my mental health. I needed to get back into that daily routine that I had abandoned. The shaver allowed me to do just that. Hopping out of the shower, I could get a quick shave in while still in my towel. The fact that I could use it when my face was wet or dry also gave me the option of coming back later in the day and cleaning myself up. And speaking of cleaning up, popping it open and giving it a few taps over the garbage makes it easy to keep clean and functioning properly. It's also small enough to bring on trips, rather than bringing a big shaving kit. They say the battery lasts for 60 minutes, but I honestly never reached that point. I'd just plug it in after a few weeks of use and top it off. Great price, great buy.

Nice and quiet razor with easy pop up attachment for beard or sideburns. Holds a lengthy charge. Grear to take along on vacation. Smoothe shave!!

Picked this up at 50% off sale just before Christmas. I have owned a similar model before and was needing to replace the blades. With this model you can get it wet which makes it much easier to keep clean and it provides a nice smooth shave.

Got this for my husband for Father's Day, he loves it super close shave and battery last a lng time.

shaves really close, and leaves skin smooth and not irritated. Charge lasts a long time...more than 2 weeks and was still running strong, but I recharge just to be sure. Trimmer is really handy too. Can't image that the more expensive ones are any better, since this one is great. I had one like this before this one....still works after 6+ years but the switch was requireing a harder push, so bought this new one. My history with this brand and model is long....and I still love it. Both of them. Buy it.

I recommend for dry shaving. It also works wet shaving. Long battery life. can shave 6-7 times with one full charge. charging is quick about 1 hour to fully charge. Nice performance of shaver. trimmer cuts some times.

This razor have really exceeded my expectations for the prices point and I am totally satisfied with the purchase. It shaves very close and comfortable
