Normally I'm hesitant in buying a product that is a combination of 2 or more different solutions. This time, The shaver looked reasonable and practical. So far, it has proven so. Trimmer works well, The trimmer guard is a little strange in that it doesn't seem normal to use it as its designed. You want to angle it to trim, but I don't think you have to. The trimmer heads seem sharp, and do a pretty good job, short of a professional device. The way the trimmer guide comes off is a litlle concerning. It just pulls off with pressure. You feel like it should be on with a click or press of release button. My concern with this aspect is that it will wear, and start falling off. The shaver works suprisingly well. A lot better than my last Braun shaver. Its new, I know, but it seems to be doing a better job than when my last shaver was new. another sign of this is the fine dust from the shaver when cleaning it. Seems to really cut the hairs well. Easy to clean. The only bad thing with this is when you take the cover protector off, the shaver head comes off too. They are same size, so hard to grab just the protector cover. A little annoying since the foil inside of the shaver cover just slides in, so when you pull off the shaver cover, the foil falls out too. Should have had a better design for the protector cover. I need to use protector covers because of how shaver is stored. So far the battery has been great. I haven't seen the warning light go off for low battery, but that may be because I haven't waited long enough before charging. Because this shaver comes with charger stand, and not a cord, I have to charge shaver in another room. I'm concerned battery will die mid shave, so I am probably charging sooner than needed. A great feature for this would have been a % indicator or light, or something to indicate batter charge level. Overall I'm very pleased with shaver. It isn't perfect, which is why I didn't give excellent rating, but its solid. The couple design flaws keep me from giving excellent rating.

I thought, at first, the double ended shaver was strange, but the shaver fits in hand ever comfortably. Good shave. The clippers are very sharp. The guard can be adjusted for close detail or removed for very straight lines. If the charge is about gone, don't start until it is re-charged, since it mounts on a stand for charging you are not able to continue your shave until it's re-charged. Would have been nice to have a cord to plug into and be able to shave while charging. Not too inconvenient as the battery life goes on and on.

We got this for my husband and after a year he has no complaints. He usually keeps a 5 o'clock shadow kind of look and this is perfect for that. Every now and then it gets longer and even then it never pulls when trimming it. Even gives him a nice smooth shave on those rare occasions he chooses to do so. Maintenance is easy and my brother in-law just went with the same one.

I am very happy with this razor. All of the cutting options/blades function well and allow for precise trimming and smooth close shaving. The shape fits my hands nicely and the weight of the unit provides a sense/feel of good solid quality. It does not feel cheap or overly professional and the settings/buttons are easy to use. The one negative that I have that prevented it from getting 5 stars is the charging cradle. It is a little awkward placing the razor in a standing position to charge. I have knocked it over a few times. It looks super cool and does hold a charge for quite a while compared to other electric razors that I have owned. If the need were to come up, I would buy one again.

I have had multiple trimmers in my life. I have had a hard time finding one that does everthing I need it to. This is able to trim my beard and shave my neck without have to change attachements. Its been great. Battery lasts for a few shaves and cleans up easily. Only downside is that it takes a while to trim my beard, but it does do it evenly and without fail.

Been using this trimmer for a few months and am happy with it so far. It has many size options for trimming my beard... Holds charge for quite some time... Not too heavy, although a bit bulky... Very versatile with the foil shaver included... Have owned Phlips shavers/trimmers for a while and they have been of great quality. Overall happy with my purchase.

I was looking for a shaver and trimmer and bumped into this product Philips Norelco Styleshaver QS6140/41 . I was hesitant about the product but all that changed once i unpacked it and started to use it. Its very easy to use and provides a clean shave. The best part is that the shaver sucks all the hair and does a pretty clean shave although i would like if it was able to handle smaller hair for clean shave. All in all a great product for the price that i paid for.Definitely worth the value

My old razor would show signs of low battery after 3 shaves if not charged. My new shaver has yet to be charged and hasn't shown any signs of running down.

I have used the machine about two months now. And it really does a good job. Smooth and clean. The levelsit has, are great.

I borrowed this product from my brother-in-law several times and truly loved it. Decided to buy my own, a decision that I do not regret.

Item does well and keeps a charge, would like for it to shave a little closer.

I actually bought this particular model because my dad had one, I asked him if I could try it since my own razor had stopped working, and I was amazed how effective, accurate, and efficient this is. I bought one of my own, and I'm still very pleased with each and every shave. I typically have a mustache/beard/goatee situation going on, and this does the job cleanly and comfortably, also sideburns. I do also use it for body grooming when necessary (use a steady, gentle hand). However, be sure to remember which button/setting you have it on before you go in for the shave. There have been numerous times where I've switched back and forth between the trimmer/buzzer and begin to use one end but forget to switch the setting, and I wind up jabbing myself. It's my own fault completely, but absentmindedness and carelessness can result in unnecessary nicks and cuts. Still recommend it without hesitation.

I was happy to get rid of all my other shaving products. This is all you're going to need to shave or trim in 2016.

This is a great trimmer and razor combo. The trimmer's adjustable guide makes getting the right length effortless and the smaller blade is great for doing touch ups around your goatee and sideburns. The razor however is only good supplementing a traditional razor as the shave is not that close and if you have sensitive skin it will irritate it. As someone with dark facial hair I need to shave as close as possible so this is good for a touch up the next to day to save your blades life but not good as a regular shaver.

Good all-in-one electric shaver and beard trimmer. May use water to clean it. Long battery life. Only negative so far is that it does not have its own system to collect beard trimmings.

This product is giving satisfactory results, which one would expect from the brand name as it is associated with shavers since a while now, but nothing exceptional. My Verdict : It is a little overpriced.

This razor is a good value for the price. The shaving head could be a little larger and the trimming edge a little wider. Nevertheless it does a good job at a reasonalble price.
