    Great Headphones for the price!

Love these headphones!! They fit snugly over the ears and they really do stretch and twist, to fit in your bags. I have to say when i first got it the plastic feel made me think they weren't durable enough but they are pretty strong. I also love the idea that the headphone cord that's woven and has another port to plug in at the top so that you don't yank it out of your mp3 player by accident.

Great Sound quality, crisp clear and great on bass. Right amount of bass for long hours of listening. Extremely comfortable for long hours of listening. the only thing i miss is the lack of audio controls on the wire. If these headphones had those features it would be just awesome.

Won't find a better sounding pair for the price

Very nice headphones. Comfortable, plenty of volume, good noise isolation and most importantly they sound good. I use these primarily for home recording. I needed a set that sounded decent, would take a beating, and wouldn't break the bank. These fit the bill all around. I mainly listen to and play jazz/folk-rock styles of music. The sound is very nice. About as accurate as you will get for an $80 set of closed-back phones. Crisp highs that aren't harsh and a smooth midrange without the muffled sound you typically get for phones in this price-range. My only gripe would be that they are bass-heavy around the 100Hz range. Not offensively heavy, but enough to make your ears fatigue at moderate levels. This was probably to appeal to the younger crowd that would typically be using these. Regardless, they are a great set for the money.

    Great sound and Very Comfortable

The cushions around the headphones make them very comfortable. The stretch band keeps them on my head nicely, and I have a large head. The sound quality is great for the price. Phillips will replace the break away braided cord if you lose it, so it is a great deal all together. I also like the gold accents and clean styling of the product.

Subs that fit around your ears

These headphones are really something else. With these headphones i feel like im hearing all my music for the first time. Especially when it comes to bass heavy music like dubstep, hip hop, rap, and so on. They bring every aspect of each song right to the front, so im not missing a single beat even if some of the music is mixed way far back in the background of the song. Nothing is left behind and thats is truely amazing to say the least. Its all so incredibly vivid. It is as if i have subs on my ears. They are easily worth three times what they are now. I highly recommend them to who wants the most out of there music.

    Better Then Beats

These headphones are perfect, the audio quality with the deep low's & crisp high's make them sound like very expensive headphones, but they are not. The fit is comfortable and very light weight. I am a media promoter and i am always online for hours at a time, after a while i forgot that i was wearing headphones they are that comfortable. I bought some Beats Pro headphones for almost 5 times the price of these and i took them back after just 1 day, they were way too heavy and tight fitting for what i need headphones for. I bought these and they have been perfect ever since, sadly i lost them in my car when it was taken and when i went to a Best Buy in Palm Springs, CA they no longer carried these headphones so i bought something close to these but i still want a new pair of these and will order some real soon! And i still like Beats headphones and Dr. Dre he started out on KDAY 1580 AM the same station that i did but buy these!!

I love these headphones. I looked around for over the ear headphones a while before I finally got these and I'm glad I did. I almost got some beats until I was driven away by horrbile quality reviews. These headphones sound great and I even hit them on a rail when I was snowboarding and they still work. No cord or comfort problems so far.

Fresh off a $10 set of headphones for 2 years at this desk, now comparing these, which obviously are way better. Also have Dr. Dre Pro's at home to compare to. Sound quality is good, when you turn the volume fairly loud. I do sense a tiny bit of that off balanced sound another reviewer talked about. I scoffed at it, but she had a point. The two ears did seem a bit too separated in some way. Bass is almost non existent, but this is more oriented like a good SQ set, not a beat set. Really nice guitars and acoustics, natural plucking on Dire Straits: Brothers in Arms reference song. Pink Floyd - The Post War Dream seemed a bit distant in these headphones. Now the design, fitment. The cord is great. BUT, the headband isnt good for me. Even with the rubber top band stretched fully, its a tight fit on my ears, pulling upwards a tiny bit. I didn't think my head was that big... so I prefer headphones with adjustable cups. Got them on sale for $54, which is a very nice deal. For $80, not so much. Not sure if I will return them and just bite the bullet for another set of Dr. Dres. Sure they dont have the same level of sound quality, but the overall craftsmanship is better.

    Great all around headphones

I recently purchased these and could not be happier. I have owned a pair of Sony MDR-XB500 which were also fantastic but recently broke because of their lack of durability. These on the other hand seem like they cant be broken. I am an avid traveler and these are durable, flexible and comfortable. Not to mention the sound is great. The only issue I had was the depth of the headphones but that was fixed when I raised the treble of my equalizer. These headphones are also non-adjustable so if you have an odd shaped head you should try them on first. The price is an absolute steal and I would recommend these to anyone.

these things are the real deal. i'm not an audiophile, but after trying out many different headphones these things are really good, especially for the price. they do a pretty good job of sealing out noise and the bass is pretty good, but the best thing about them is they are very comfortable.

    Great Sound, Comfort, and Price

I've had the headphones for a couple days and although they don't say that they are noise cancelling they are pretty darn close. Another plus is that the sound of the headphones max sound doesn't blow your ears off and it does have a bass amplifier but it doesn't destroy your eardrums. The really only negative and potentially bad part about the headphones is they don't come with a carrying case, I bet you can get one though I just haven't looked. Overall this is the "Beats: Studios By: Dr. Dre" cheaper!!!

First off, these are very comfortable but due to the noise canceling feature they do make your ears feel quite warm after a while. Otherwise, excellent headphones. Good sound quality (not great but certainly and upgrade from your average headphones). Very comfortable. and if you can find them at a good price they're well worth it

Very comparible sound quality to Dr Dre Beats!!

I went to Best Buy with the idea of grabbing some Dr Dre Beats headphones for $200 and walked away with these for $65! I sampled all of the headphones there and these were extremely comparable to the Beats headphones at a fraction of the cost!! I was shocked to see how great they sounded and how cheap they were. Anyone who rates these headphones lower than a 4 is not so smart. I use these daily and absolutely LOVE them! It's like listening to a concert, you will not be disappointed!

    great for use on airplane

I wanted a set of over the ears to muffle the airplane roar and that were comfortable for hours at a time. I tried a couple cheaper noise canceling headsets (on ear not cupped over) and they made little difference. These seem sturdy enough. I like that the cord is 2 peices so that if the cord gets snagged while plug in and in use it unsnaps appart rather than have plug or headset end damaged.

I work in a busy office setting with people constantly on the phone, or conversing with each other. I got tired of listening to conversations that are not work related - "Johnny got in trouble at school again" or " Grandma's arthritis is getting better". I saw these on sale, and had a gift card, so I went and tested them at the local Best Buy. I was blown away by how much noise was cut out in such a busy store. I now wear these while working and get a lot more work done. You don't even have to have the volume turned up loud at all to enjoy the background noise reduction. The only thing that I don't like is how bulky they look. I know I'm not a fashion model by any stretch, but they definitely are not flattering.

    perfect for those wearing glassses

The sound quality is great but most impressive to me is the comfort when wearing the headset. Wonderful for one who has to wear glasses! I've only been using it since Christmas and the only concern I have is the cord. It is short so I have to be mindful of that when reaching for something and, just looking at it, I can't help but wonder how it will hold up. (I hope it is a very long time because I love this headset!)

I just recently bought these headphones and the sound quality is amazing. I tried out the Beats in comparison and I still prefer these. The Philips have a wide range of frequencies and carry a heavy focus on the low ends, providing a great but not overwhelming beat. Awesome headphones.

I tried out several different headphones at various stores for 100 or under, and these were easily the winner. They are by far the most comfortable, the sound is super clear, and they block out sound much better than most other headphones.

    A decent mid level headset

A decent mid level headset but only at the discounted price. I love the fabric cord that can be replaced if needed. I haven't checked if Phillips provides longer extensions. Soundwise, it is rich. Don't expect major bass. And it is not sound cancelling, so you still hear muffled ambient noise.

Just got this headphones for my son 2 days ago. He had compared this Philips headphones with my Sony earbuds, Pioneer clip headphones and cordless Sony headphones. He agreed with me that this piece of Philips is a steal for clarity and comfortability.
