I got these headphones as a gift after I went to Best Buy and listened on the headphones they had available there and then I hinted about which one I wanted as a gift. I read almost all the reviews and the reviews on several other ones. I thought about the Bose but I didn't think it was that much better in quality for $75-$100 more. Remember, Bose advertises and that is expensive and part of what one pays for a product. The base was really good. Not quite noise cancelling headphones but they really diminished the outside noise. The person that gave me the gift even got it on sale. I thought they were good for the original amount. Great quality. I love classical and soft rock music and so they were perfect for me.

I had bought less expensive earphones & returned them because they "hummed". These are perfect! Fit over the ear easily, very little room noise gets through. Sound is excellent. I bought an extension cord for them so I can walk around while listening.

I got these headphones last week and they are awesome. They are not noise canceling, but they act like it. Used them on a plane the other day and could not hear a thing other than the music. I got these for $45 and can't say more than this is the best deal for the money. They sound great, compared to $299 ones, not quite there, but close and I have an extra $250 in my pocket.

Good at first, started to break after a few months

I bought these headphones as a gift for my husband when he asked for nicer headphones for studying because his in-ear headphones were uncomfortable. At first they were great and he really liked them (comfortable, good sound quality). After a few months the piece of plastic that held the cushioned band to the headphones broke, and he super glued it, which lasted a little while longer. Then, after about a year of use the cord started shorting out and now they no longer work. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I thought an $80 pair of headphones would last longer than a year.

I looked everywhere for great headphones and priced it out for weeks. Tried them on, listened to the same tracks and of course price checked. Tried Skullcandy, Beats by Dre & other name brands and although the Skullcandy looked awesome, they were not as comfortable and did not have the range these did! These don't hit the lowest of notes, but you'll get a good thump and hear the "sparkles" on the high chimed notes! They also do a great job (8/10) of noise reduction/cancellation while in flight. The only downside is they don't have the volume buttons on the cord, HOWEVER, you can still have a conversation on your phone with the headphones on, just keep the phone close to your face when speaking to have a comfortable and quality phone call. I have traveled at least 8 segments since I bought these a month ago and they have held up, they were ON SALE at Best BUY for $50 (norm $80). If you want a durable, quality, reasonable, great sounding and lasting set of headphones, these are the ones for you.

    Can't Go Wrong

I've had these babies for about 7months now, and I personally believe that's enough time for me to come to the conclusion that these are really really good headphones! I use em daily and they serve it's purpose. The cord is pretty long, but if you need it longer [or even if the cable shorts out], it comes with an extra one that you can add on to or replace the other cable. You really can't go wrong with these babies!

They are a bit uncomfortable if you wear them for a long time ... because the insides are somewhat sturdy but of course there are cushion rings around your ear. Nevertheless they have very good sound quality and I believe they are as good as the $100+ headphones people buy. Really unnecessary. I am a musician/singer and I am very satisfied with them. Especially for the price.

These headphones are amazing. The sound quality is great for the price and has pretty decent bass. You can literaly bend them any which way and they will still pop back into place. All in all best set of headphones ever XD

Sound isn't isolated; people around me can hear it even on a low volume. Bass for some music is overpowering over the treble. On the good side, they are comfortable over a long period of wearing and the cord feels very durable (threaded overlay). Some people with smaller heads may not enjoy these headphones though. All in all, I'm still glad I got these, not the overpriced brands, which audio is similar to these.

I have been using the same headphones for 20 years, Decided to get new ones that fit my head better and covered my whole ear. I am in love with these headphones. They have great stereo sound and pretty much cancel out any other noise in the room. I can watch 2 hour movies without my head hurting from the headphones like my other ones did. Should have got these a long time ago.

Sound quality is fair. I paid 54.99 for them so take that into consideration. I wouldn't recommend this headphones at full price. Bass is seriously lacking. I don't listen to bass heavy music, but it definitively lacks depth in the lower range. . They fit well and are pretty comfortable but if you want headphones with a more solid sound, you might want to look at a different pair.

Bought these for my 20 yr old son as a Xmas present, he was looking for a BIG brand name so I was uncertain how he would accept these. Home from college for winter break he used these a LOT. VERY impressed, so much so that he took to a friends house to show him and they ended up at BB to buy a set for his friend. Me...I don't use them but if he's happy, so am I. Took a chance based on other reviews and scored a hit w/o taking a $$$$ hit. Thanks BB (and Phillips). QUALITY product witthout crazy pricing!!!

The stretch headphones have great sound, especially the acoustics and electric guitar. Bass is great for any style except for rap and hip hop, but I would still say it is good and not bad at all. If most of what you listen to is rap and hip hop you will probably still like these for the price, but they don't quite have the bass a more expensive pair do like Beats or Bose. Watching tv and movies are awesome as well with phenomenal sound effects. Its basically like having surround sound built into a pair of headphones. They stretch very well as advertised so they are very durable and the shoe string-like cord which almost never gets knotted is great and innovative as well. It may occasionally get twisted around a tad but all you have to do is twist the cord in the other direction and it unravels very easily. You'll have to do a lot of twisting to get it really straightened out when you first take them out of the package, but after that you won't have hardly any problems. The soft cushions are very comfortable and fit completely over your ear which makes for great sound and noise isolation as well. They're not noise-cancelling but are pretty close to it. There has to be something really loud to even come close to breaking through the headphones where you would be able to hear it. Overall, these are great headphones that I love a lot and am extremely glad I got them. The only problem you may run into is a little crackling noise in certain songs, but it only happens during a low quality song or mp3, so its not a big issue at all. If you have any mp3s that are of low quality you may try and find a better quality mp3, but I would say that about 90-95% of your songs will sound phenomenal. They are very affordable and in my opinion the best valued headphones there is when you consider the quality you're getting for the price your paying. These are definitely worth at least $100 and you won't come close to paying that at Best Buy. If you are looking for a great pair of headphones that won't break the bank, get these immediately and you will not regret it.

These really are soooo comfortable. The material of which the pads are made is some of the softest stuff I've ever felt. I got them for my younger sister as a Christmas present, and she tells me all the time what a win those headphones were. I bought these for her because she had tried out my headphones (different brand), and really liked them. I saw the good reviews on bestbuy.com, so I bought these, and now I wish that I had bought them for myself! Bottom line...they're awesome.

For the money spent, these Phillips-O'Neill headphones are outstanding. I shopped around quite a bit for a good quality pair of headphones to use primarily on airplane trips since the standard ear bud or airline headphones don't keep out the sound enough or allow quality listening to in-flight movies. This Phillips pair was an excellent product for the price I paid. You don't need the $300+ competitor headphones to get quality.

I bought these headphones because they were on a half-price sale and the specs looked good. I'm delighted. Sound quality is superb across the frequency range and across my range of taste--mostly orchestral and choral music, with occasional rock and jazz. Highly recommended.

I bought these for my daughter, but I find myself using them just as much as she does. These are the first pair of nice cans I've ever used. The sound envelopes you and blocks outside sound very well. I'm no audiophile, but these have a great sound to me.

I bought these for my 11 year old son for Xmas who originally requested Dr. Dre headphones. He loves them, the sound is great, he can use it with his phone and the packaging added to the value of these headphones.

Great Sound. Glad I purchased them. Much better than the Dre Beats in my opinion, those are way too expensive.
