Since Alexa can’t turn the lights for a ring camera but it can for Phillips lights I set a motion alert for the ring camera to IFTTT and turn on the Phillips lights. It gives me a lot more options for using the flood lights with Alexa.

Thought they'd produce more light

I already had BR30 in wall lantern but wanted more light. Even though these say the are 1000 lumens while the others were 800 lumens I didn't notice difference. But in all fairness it could be my wall lanterns limiting their brightness and distance. Kept them since I got them so cheap and gifted my mother the BR30 since she also has the Philips hue setup.
