I'm not one to write reviews, but I felt this product was being completely misrepresented on here by that review below. Do a Google search for SHN9500 reviews, and you'll see what I mean. These headphones are great. I rated value as 4/5 only because I'm sure there's a better headset out there for $80 that I don't know about. For me, the value is 5/5. I use them primarily at work to block out sound as I sit in a noisy traffic lane - it's perfect and well worth $80. I rated sound quality as 4/5 only because Bose headphones are better. If you have $300 to spend on headphones, your money should be going there. If noise cancelling isn't important, there are cheaper options out there. If you need a noise cancelling headset and don't have $300, these will do just fine. Rated comfort as 5/5 - These are the most comfortable headphones I've worn in a long, long time. Maybe ever. Rated durability as 5/5 - They come with a hardened carrying case, and they're made from quality materials. What more can you ask for from a headset. I rated overall as 5/5 really just to balance out the previous rating of 1/5. They deserve a solid 4/5.

Wife ended up returning these and got the Bose QC15.

Just returned a pair I purchased online. Really bad noise cancelling feature. I own a set from able planet that were cheaper and much better. Don't waste your money on these.
