I just purchased this toothbrush and used it a couple of times. I’m not use to the vibration and it does tickle certain areas of the mouth. I bought it for half off so I’m happy about that. I like the results and how fresh my mouth feels after using. It has a timer that shut it off automatically and lets you know when to switch areas. The box talked about bonus savings I would get with enclosed coupons. Well, the coupons expired in 2019 so that means this thing has been silting in a warehouse for at least 2 years. When I purchase something I don’t expect it to be an older unused item so that is very disappointing and also influences my rating. The charger light keeps flashing even after the toothbrush being on the charger for 30 plus hours. Maybe that is normal but you have to wonder if there may be an issue due to the age. I could box it back up and return it for an exchange or refund. If I had spent the current asking price I certainly would and if it was north of a hundred I’d be taking my business elsewhere. Overall I like the items and the deals I get at Best But but do think I should have been told up front this is an older unit. Wonder if Oral B does the same type of thing?

Hello. Just to make this brief and get to the point, I also have a WaterPik. A Percocet from Best Buy but when ever I don't have time for a good long playing Road, are you this sonic toothbrush. I love it. You can feel the difference and auto timer really comes in handy. I need every morning and Afternoon. I highly recommend this. It is afford and you get the clean that you would with a higher priced one. You will DEFINITELY feel the difference over a standard toothbrush. Thanks for reading this.

    Electric Brush A Game Changer

My wife saw these as a Black Friday Deal and was adamant we get a pair of them. I am glad we did! These are so much better than using a manual brush and we will never go back! This model is very simple and there is just a on/off switch. After 30 seconds it pauses for just a second to let you know to switch quadrants while brushing. My teeth feel very clean after using it every time. You do have to buy replacement heads of course but, just play your cards right and find them on a deal then you will have many months supply on hand! The heads simply pull off and push on! This is a GREAT introduction into electric brushes or if you want a no frills to the point brush!

I’ve bought Oral B rechargeable for myself and family for six or eight years, and believe that was an improvement over manual brushing. The battery in the Oral B rechargeable does drop off after 12-16 months even with proper charging, which does result in a decrease in brushhead revolutions. Based on descriptions and reviews here and elsewhere I decided to try the Sonicare 2 for myself and two additional for my daughters. The difference compared with the Oral B is immediate and substantial. On first use my teeth felt extremely clean and smooth. The bottom line important aspect, cleaning, is superior to the Oral B and manual brushing. Yet it’s not harsh on the gums and teeth at all, quite gentle with little pressure required. It is very affordable, and the other models with wifi or bluetooth connection at $200 are just silly compared to the Sonicare 2 at the $39 range. After charging the battery completely overnight, I used it 3-4 minutes a day for two weeks without putting on the charger, with no noticeable drop off. On a trip of up to 7-10 days there would be no need to pack the small charging base and cord. Very very pleased with this model and its price is very worthwhile. My daughters had the same feedback with their brushes. You can have a great rechargeable that provides superb cleaning without spending $200 or more for needless doodads that provide no better cleaning.

never going back to a manual toothbrush

The first couple times using this - after years of scrubbing away with whatever old-fashioned brush my dentist would give me after a check up - were amusing and even exciting. This thing is so powerful, it feels like your head rattles around whenever it touches your teeth. After a while, I got acclimated to it, and now it just feels like it consistently gives my teeth a thorough cleaning. I've probably only used a manual brush one or two times since I got this thing a few months ago, and my teeth just feel dirty compared to how they feel after using the sonicare. I'd like to advise against getting one of the higher-end sonicare brushes, however. This one is as powerful as you could need, and the more expensive ones just buy you gimmicks. This brush already has its share of gimmicks, although I would argue that they're generally useful, with the most obvious being how the brush only stays on for two minutes at a time, with those two minutes divided into four 30-second segments. The idea is to focus on one-quarter of your teeth at a time for each of those segments. It's intuitive and helps with brushing all of your teeth the same amount. What else could you need?

This toothbrush was recommended to me by a coworker, so I decided to look it up. It had good reviews so I decided to go for it. Pros: my teeth feel much cleaner after using this toothbrush (Even after the FIRST time using it), it keeps a charge forever (2 weeks at least with twice a day brushing), nice design and comfortable to hold, replacement heads are cheap enough, easy to clean. Cons: first of all it's very ticklish at first! But you get used to it, messy at times, head doesn't actually rotate--the entire toothbrush vibrates strongly (which a beginner to electric toothbrushes might not know), I'm worried about the metal where the head attaches rusting someday but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. Overall, 9/10. Great toothbrush, worth the money!

I have always used a traditional toothbrush and this was my first try at a electric one. My son has this same brand, but different model. I found this model a lot more harsh initially but have gotten used to it. It took me about a week to get accustomed to the vibration. It has a timer which is a great feature.

I had been meaning to pick up an electric tooth brush for sometime. I am glad I finally made the choice. Holds a charge for well over week. I like the auto shut off at two minutes and that you can hit the button to pause. The two minute timer encourages me to brush a little longer than in the past. I like that the brush head is not too big. Great purchase.

I bought this on sale and with a rebate so decided to give it a try. So far so good. I like that it beeps to let you know to move to the next section of teeth. It automatically shuts off after two minutes. It does a good job at holding a charge, 3 days without charging it, I use it 3 times a day.

I've had sonicare before so i knew the benefits of it. recent visit with a dentist assured me again to begin using e-toothbrush, and this went on sale just in time. as usual, no complication. just plain old great. easing into use by increment of intensity over time is a great added feature. like it.

Easy to use and does a fantastic job. I had bought two earlier for my grand daughters. They started using them right away and have fun using them. I think it greatly improves dental heath, keeps teeth shiny and healthy. We also have their air floss.

I saw this toothbrush advertised on sale at Best Buy, and I was in the market for a new rechargeable brush. I had an Oral-B rechargeable brush for 5+ years, until it wouldn't fully charge anymore. The major difference between the Sonicare and Oral-B brushes is that the Sonicare uses pulsing/vibration, while Oral-B's brush spins. It took some getting used to with the Sonicare brush, because I thought the Oral-B brush did a fantastic job cleaning away stuff not only on my teeth, but stuff in between them as well. My Sonicare isn't Philips' top of the line rechargeable brush, so while it cleans my teeth just fine, it doesn't really get in between my teeth. It just means I have to floss more, but that's okay. I do like the built in timer on the Sonicare, which automatically shuts the brush off after two minutes, though I almost always opt to turn it on again and brush for an additional two minutes.
