This is an amazing product. I have always been using a traditional btoothbrush, but when i started using this new one, i teeth started thanking me. Now I see that the plaque is gone easily and find my teeth shimmering all the time. Thanks to Philips.

I've fallen in love with this toothbrush. I can't wait to see if it has helped improve the condition of my gums/teeth when I go in for my next dentist's appointment.

What can I say? I am a sucker for the most basic toothbrush! I like the price!! I like the fact there is nothing wrong with them. What rubs me the wrong way is the fact that the replacement toothbrush heads are more money than the original purchase. Oh well.
Great mid-price model. Happy with Philips products

Very happy with the power toothbrush. I've had three different power toothbrushes from Philips and never had a problem.
I bought this model due the pressure sensor. My dentist has mentioned to me that I am brushing too hard (my gums are receding). With the pressure sensor, it will beep continuously if you are pressing too hard against your teeth.
Invest potentially in the premium brushheads, I found the brush head that comes with the toothbrush a bit small :)

after 25+ years marriage to a dentist, I have learned a lot over the years. And one is of the value of an electric toothbrush. So the Sonicare is a forgone choice. The Sonicare line is somewhat bewildering in the selection, and some are a whole lot more expensive than others. But, my understanding, that the active tooth cleaning process is nearly identical if you are spending $25 or 6 times that amount. So, I go with a model on the lower end of the menu, since I don't need programmed reminders to change the brush head, etc.
The 4100 has a long battery life, slim charger stand that doesn't hog the bathroom counter with a tidy USB cord to power the charger (which can be stowed in the drawer most the time, since a single charge lasts 2-3 weeks with bid brushing)

This is just what I needed. It's lightweight and has features that I like, especially the alert that you're pressing too hard when you brush. I always wondered if I was doing it right. It also has 2 speeds in case you need to get used to brushing with one and trying the lighter speed first. The price is fantastic and I see no reason to buy the expensive ones. I got the pink so I could immediately know it was mine and not my husband's if we're at a hotel. A great purchase.

It’s good, it does the job. But me personally I like a bigger toothbrush. So I ordered the Oral-B IO and I’m much comfortable with it but overall it is a good toothbrush. I’m just gonna put it back in the box and give it to my granddaughter as a gift.

Thorough cleaning of teeth while compact enough to travel with. Takes a few cleanings to get used to the vibration on your gums, but once you get used to it, it provides a more thorough clean than conventional toothbrushes. I replace the heads every month or so.

This is a good starter electric toothbrush, but the oral b one is better. Cleans deeper. I would just get the oral-B one that’s more advanced at the start.

Good quality. Has a timer to help with cleaning effectively. I found position of indicator light telling you if your pressing to hard is difficult to see while brushing?

This is my 2nd Phillips sonicare toothbrush. That's only because after 2 years of constant use, my dog decided it could be a good chew toy! Fortunately grabbed it before he broke open the casing. In between getting this new one, I bought a regular battery operated one off the rack at CVS. It just wasn't the same and I could really tell the difference in how clean my teeth felt when I had the sonicare. I can't go back to a regular toothbrush!

I didn't realize how old my prior Sonicare was until it died. There are approximately 1 million Sonicare models now, this one had the best combination of price and features. I like that it is slim, LOVE that it's pink, and like the small size of the charger stand. I wish it was a little more stable on charger, it's easy to bump and knock off.
The timer works great. However, not sure the feature to tell you when you're brushing too hard works. I've had my dentist tell me I brush too hard, and I've pressed as hard as I can to try to make that alert go off, but either it's really hard to see, or it's just not working.
Regardless, still a nice toothbrush and I like that it holds a charge for 2 weeks so you can travel with it - previously I had to bring a separate battery powered brush.
