This is our second AirFloss. The first AirFloss stopped working after about 2 years. We use Philips Sonicare mouth rinse in the resevior (dentist recommended). After not taking it on a 2 week trip, we came home and it would not work. Rinsed it out several times but did not help. Hope this one will stay working and we will not let it sit idle for several days.

Love this Airfloss!! Thoroughly cleans between teeth. I use Listerine instead of the dental rinse they provide. Works like a charm...

It's small, doesn't take up a lot of room in medicine cabinet. It pulsates rather than one long stream of water. It isn't messy. It does a really good job. It's a little hard to find. Most places have Water-Pik which is bulky and messy. I recommend it highly.

Not sure about other negative reviews. This Sonicare shoots 3 different levels of bursts to clean and odorize the mouth using any recommended mouthwash. easy to use and the battery lasts for 10 days from the first charge. I bought it when it was on sale which makes it a great deal.

Having used other flossers in the past, I like this one most for being one that's less messy and completed quickly. It does about as good of a job cleaning as the others and the cleanup is quick (make sure you hold the power button down to shut it off before rinsing it off). This also comes with an accessory that allow you to fill easily. Down-side is the external tank only comes in white.

This is very easy to use and seems to stay cleaner than the flosser I was using. Hope it lasts longer than 1 year. Because of the ease of use I am using mouthwash more often. It is also approved by my Hygienist and she recommends using the lower settings.

I'm a huge fan of Philips dental products and have owned different products for the last 10+ years. Every one of them has performed flawlessly! With this item, as long as you adhere to the care instructions on flushing it out, it will be very reliable! I broke the first one I owned because I let mouthwash stay in too long without flushing it out before storage, so that was on me. But, this is a great product!

I love this flosser. It has healed my gums! It works so well. I can quickly floss my teeth my gums are healthier than they have ever been. I couldn’t be happier. I use mouthwash in my flosser which has also helped lighten staining in between my teeth. Highly recommend!

I am not a faithful flosser so I was looking for something quick and easy to get the job done. I like that the flosser holds enough water to floss all teeth and can be filled with tap water or mouthwash/rinse. It's easy to use and my teeth feel clean. It's also easy to clean up and will charge on the same base as my Sonicare toothbrush.

I recently had a bridge put in and the dental assistant tried to show me how to keep it clean underneath by threading a piece of floss under it using a kind of stiff monofilament line with a loop at the end that you used to push the floss through to the other side. Even she had trouble with that method. She also mentioned using a water pik or air floss instead and since I already had the Philips Sonicare toothbrush, I went with the AirFloss. I'm very happy with the cleaning action of the AirFloss. Three good blasts between each tooth cleans them out very well. Very easy to get under the bridge too. The water tank is just big enough to do your whole mouth. Takes a week or so to get used to it (get ready to spray some water on your mirror when first using :-) ) but after that you're all set. And I like the fact I can use my Sonicare Toothbrush charger with the AirFloss. One less charger is always a good thing.

The Philips Sonicare Airfloss Ultra is a great alternative to floss. Especially for sensitive gums. However for stubborn items that get stuck in your teeth, nothing beats using floss. The bursts are not too strong so it's not an overwhelming experience. The rinse that comes with the Airfloss is TERRIBLE. Avoid using it... you've been warned. Your mouthwash of choice will be much better experience.

As far as the flossing goes, it's great. Once you get used to it, it's hard to believe how you ever lived without it. The only problem with it is that it works great for 3-4 months, then dies. Sonicare did replace it. Unfortunately, the replacement started having issues - it worked, then didn't work. Philips was not as cooperative the second time, therefore I purchased this one. so now I have one that works on a whim and the new one that may work all the time. This way I know I will be able to floss my teeth every night.

It was a choice between Water Pic™ and he Sonic product. I have the Sonic powered toothbrush which I am very happy with so one stayed with the same brand.

It gently delivers short bursts of water between the teeth. You control when and how many (1 -3 but you can do it again for more). It is not a steady stream of water. I found that it does remove particles. It is good for the person that does not like to floss or does not floss well. That it why it is describes as a flosser and not a water pick.

If you’ve ever struggled with flossing this product is for you. Takes away the hard part of holding the floss and gets down to the cleaning. Great product. Wish it came with extra heads though.

Love the Air Floss... it beats putting strings in my gums and cutting my hands ANY day. I wish the Air Floss came with a travel case that charges it similar to the Electric Toothbrush. Thanks Sonicare!

Amazing little device that blasts out the between teeth build up!! Super easy to use and super convenient - would highly recommend if you hate flossing every day but still want to combat tarter build up between teeth.
