Customers are delighted by the DiamondClean Smart Electric toothbrush's cleaning performance and the inclusion of multiple brush heads. The charging travel case and wireless charging glass are also appreciated, along with the sleek design and long battery life. The app and pressure sensitivity features enhance the brushing experience, while the USB travel case adds convenience. The main drawback mentioned by customers is the high price of replacement brush heads.

I've been a believer in the Sonicare electric toothbrush for many years - and had the positive dental outcomes to back that up - so when this new model came out, I was intrigued to see what made it better/different than the existing model that was due for a replacement. All the new features seemed interesting, but do they add up to a real difference?
The answer, I'm happy to report, is yes they certianly do! This package comes with a lot - 6 brush heads in 3 different types that should keep you brushing for a long time, a tongue cleaner, a travel case and the charging glass in addition to the toothbrush itself. The charging glass is cool - instead of the old plastic charging bases, you get an actual glass (it's even etched with the Philips Sonicare logo) that sits on top of an induction charger, so you can put the toothbrush in the glass to charge like you would a manual one and then wash the glass when it's dirty. It looks much nicer on the counter and is a cool addition. The toothbrush itself works fine on its own with multiple settings and options on the brush but really comes to life when you connect it to your phone via bluetooth (I have an iPhone and it was a VERY easy experience downloading the app and connecting the toothbrush with no manual settings to change). The app allows you not just to see the settings but also tracks your brushing time, telling you where to brush and tracking how you do. It seems quite accurate and also coaches you if you're moving the brush too fast or applying too much/too little pressure with it. In my first brushing, it turns out I missed a spot so it told me at the end to go back and get it which is brilliant. It also asks if you remembered to rinse/floss which are good reminders for positive oral health, and tracks how you do over time as well as reminding you when it's time to change the head on the toothbrush so you don't overuse a worn out brush head. These are great add on features that should really help ensure I'm getting the most out of the toothbrush over time.
Now, all that said, at the end of the day this is a Sonicare toothbrush - you still get a great clean for your teeth and should have a happy dentist, but you can get that from the more entry models. Are the extras with this model / package nice? Certainly they are! But they're not "required" - much in the same way both an entry model economy car and a Rolls Royce can get you to where you're going, this toothbrush and an entry Sonicare can get you clean teeth. One just gives you a better and easier experience doing it. So if that better/easier experience is worth the price of entry to you - and it is to me - I can certainly recommend this toothbrush!

There are several things that my parents taught me you should not cheap out on. Shoes, tires, bed to name a few. My own addition to that list is teeth. You should really not cheap out on dental care. I definitely disregarded it in my younger days and had to pay the price (literally) to fix them. Now I will do whatever it takes to keep them healthy.
Upfront, you will note that the quality of the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean is there. You definitely won't be holding it and think where did all that money go. Not that aesthetics of a TOOTHBRUSH should matter BUT if you are paying a premium for it, it better look the price. It feels good in the hand and I had no complaints about the design.
How does it actually brush? I love it. The pressure sensors are amazing. I really did not realize how hard I was brushing. I have had issues with gum recession so this really did help me out alot. I am a bit skeptical of EVERYTHING these days being "smart" and/or "needing an app" (especially for brushing your teeth) but Philips actually incorporated it pretty well. It was easy to sync and set up and you can see real-time on the app your brushing. It definitely has changed some of my brushing habits.
All in all, dental care is something to invest in. I have already learned from using this toothbrush. I think this is definitely something to look into if you are trying to improve your oral care game.

I have used electric toothbrushes for many years, and have alternated between Braun models and Phillips models. My current Braun was several years old, so I decided to switch back to a Phillips model, and chose this one.
It built very well, with an easy to clean rubberized coating on it, and it came with a very nice USB travel case, and 6 brush heads and a tongue scrapping attachment, that works really well. I especially like the smart brush head feature, that automatically recognizes which brush head you have attached, and sets the brushing program to match the head.
I never understood the "glass" that is provided to stand your brush in to charge/store it, but this model also came with a conventional charging "stand", which is what I am using to store/charge it with. The only thing that was sadly missing was a holder for the toothbrushes, but I found a nice one on Amazon, so even though at this price point it should have been included, I was ok buying one.
If you are not used to the powerful, vibrating cleaning action that you get from Phillips brushes, it will take a few uses for you to get used to, but after awhile, you can feel how clean your mouth is after using it, and, using the tongue cleaning attachment after brushing adds an extra touch of clean to your mouth.
I set up the Bluetooth/smart tracking features in the app, but frankly, at this stage of my life, and after having multiple Braun/Phillips tooth brushes, I know exactly how to use these for max effectiveness, but it is nice to have that guidance if you are new to electric toothbrushes.
The replacement heads are pricey, but if you can afford to price of entry to this device, the replacement brushes prices shouldnt be that much of a surprise.
All in all, its a nice package, and using these types of brushes will definitely keep your mouth alot cleaner that you would be able to achieve from a manual brush!

Many years ago, my dentist told me to go to an electric toothbrush to save my gums. Like many, I thought harder was better
Over this span of time, besides countless brush heads replaced, I have upgraded with the newest and greatest technology
I have also switched back and forth between this Phillips brand and th other European top brand, I have also stayed at the upper ends of the lines, often with the top model
When my last one from another brand was showing it's age (it still worked fine) I decided it was time for a new one
Since I also trust the Phillips line of home products, I decided to change back and to give this one a try
As with most new products today, the packaging had the environment in mind. A lot of thought went into maximizing product protection, while also minimizing any excessive or non recyclable materials
Set-up was super easy. I chose the glass charger option over the low profile stand (both are included) which provides a little bit of style and "cool factor"
The downloaded able app is a nice feature, but I don't want to be bothered having to start it when I brush my teeth
There is included a multitude of brush heads, and I chose the deep clean one to start
I can say that this thing hums. Not in a loud way, but the speed is many times faster than other brands (my perception). It does tickle your nose a bit, but it is well worth it
After just the first few days, I am seeing a brightening and removal of stubborn stains, but most of all, I get that "just back from the dentist" feeling. Yea, my teeth feel that clean
This is not a cheap investment, but the results in my opinion justify the expense

I want to start out by saying that I have used a number of different electric toothbrushes. Nothing compares to the sonicare brand regardless of what version/type you’re using. That being said the diamond clean has all the bells and whistles that make a truly noticeable difference, even compared to other sonicare toothbrushes.
A lot of the key differences are in the combination of using the toothbrush with the app. It syncs up with the toothbrush and lets you know where you need the most attention, where your cleaning should be focused when you go to the dentist, and other things that you wouldn’t even know about without the toothbrush. I have to say, even with the new technology we see on almost a daily basis these days, that was still pretty amazing to me. Maybe because I never even thought about features like that for a toothbrush of all things.
Yeah, the price is up there but because of how it focuses on possible problem areas, teaches you where your teeth might need more attention, etc. it can save you a ton of money in the long run by keeping your teeth/mouth cleaner and healthier. I really was a bit skeptical that a toothbrush could offer enough to warrant this price tag…it proved me wrong and showed me again why sonicare really still is the best option for electric toothbrushes.

Prepare... to be... BLOWN AWAY... (or brushed away in this case!)
This is a full and complete set including multiple heads of varied hardness , a charger base, and brushing unit. It's enough for 2 people , more if you don't mind buying brushing heads when they wear out instead of using the included ones as spares.
There's not a lot to the setup - charge the base, select your brushing head, install the app to your phone. Once you've paired your phone to the base, a one-time calibration is required which will tell the app how you brush. It will tell you how to adjust your brushing and how firmly you brush, but be sure to do both sides of your teeth (inside and outside)..
Both me and my wife have used this for several days now. We are SERIOUSLY impressed with how clean our teeth have been getting using this brush. Definitely getting that "fresh from the dentist/hygenist" feel!
Even throughout the day we had that fresh feeling ! If you have the budget, this is not just a gimmick - this brush is worth every penny if you like that super-fresh super-clean teeth feeling!
