This is the second one I own. I used to own a sonic care flex care, which was the previous top of the line tooth brush. I owned that for 5 or 6 years. I took it to Afghanistan and back. The battery in that brush was amazing. I honestly only charged it once every six months, using it daily. This one, ehh, not so much, you might get three weeks out of it, which is still amazing. I am not sure of the differences of the batteries, but the previous gen was much better. I have a pink one and now the amethyst. I think they are more comfortable in my hand. I think they do a great job.

I could not possibly my be any more happy with this tooth brush!! It truly is an amazing product. I could tell the difference in the shade of my teeth in the first brush. It literally makes your teeth clean like you have just left the dentist. I'm so happy with it. One of my favorite purchases I've made in quite some time. Not a penny wasted!!

This toothbrush is certainly the most expensive oral product I've ever owned, however it is also the Best. Dentist visit clean every time!

Recently after going to the dentist I was recommended this toothbrush. I needed a new one anyway so I bought one for my wife and I. This is by far the best toothbrush I've ever owned. I normally don't like the vibrating brushes because they don't seem to add anything to the process, but this toothbrush seems to be different. No vigorous needed. It's so easy to clean, and I don't have to worry about batteries.

If anyone had ever told me I’d spend over $200 on an electric toothbrush, I would’ve laughed in their face. My sister had one and that began me thinking of buying a replacement for my old dead electric. I am SO GLAD I DID! This Philips Sonicare Diamond Clean has made all the difference in the feel and look of my teeth and gums. My manual toothbrush never removed built up plaque or tartar. I can use this with a little salt mixed w my toothpaste and it’s gone. It holds a charge for more than a month. I kid you not. It is an amazing innovative invention that comes with several different types of heads as well as a travel case & charger to carry with you. Psst- and it’s PURPLE. That right there makes me happy to brush my teeth just to look at it. It takes a while to get used to the humming vibration sensation, it tickles your nose a bit at first. It is worth every single dollar. Your teeth feel clean as if you just left the dentist chair. They still feel clean when you wake up in the morning. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to buy or replace an electric toothbrush. I even bought my other sister one, that’s how much I love it.

I feel like once you try this product (electric toothbrush) you CAN NOT go back to a regular toothbrush! After each use of my electric toothbrush my mouth feels cleaner than it ever has & this toothbrush made my gums healthy (they where too sensitive & would bleed easy). &&& on top of all of this I actually did notice my teeth get whiter in a week!! :) Also I was initially thinking this is too good the charge on this is gonna be terrible (the box said the charge is good for a month) & actually it lasted me 1month 1week I'm glad I was wrong(hate returning stuff) !! Last thing I have to say about this product is that I don't understand the brush sizes , there is a regular & a compact?? I have never been fancy with toothbrushes & have never owned even a battery operated one until now that I finally decided to go all the way with this electric one & I'm happy (but confused about the sizes of the brush sizes is all:))

My dentist recommended this to me after my previous electric toothbrush kicked the bucket. I was skeptical at first because it seemed too much/too fancy and was expensive but I am SO SO glad I listened to my dentist. My teeth have never felt so clean and it's super cute to boot! (I got the pink one.) It's so each to charge and doesn't get gross like my previous toothbrush. And the traveling case is super handy and I love that I can charge with that as well so I don't have to pack the charger.

Sonicare's DiamondClean is an impressive brush. It's easily the best home teeth cleaning product I've used. Your dentist may not want to recommend this brush, because it's a safe bet you'll spend less at his office for dental care once you start using the DiamondClean. Including the travel kit and charger was a nice touch, but an estimated seven days battery charge for twice daily cleaning is already awfully good for anyone whose circumstances preclude regular charging. Yes, it's an investment, but it's a serious enough oral care device to give most the best cleaning they've had outside of the dentist's office.

I purchased this as a replacement to my existing Sonicare toothbrush. I think I had that one for about 5 years. Not sure of its expected shelf life but I'd say I had a good run with it. I like the new one where you're able to charge in the glass cup and even better that the travel case also allows charging. This entices me to take it when I travel now. The only thing I'd prefer is that the Clean mode doesn't seem as powerful as my old one.

My trusty Sonicare that I bought 6+ years ago finally died and since I needed to get a new one it seemed an appropriate time to upgrade from the basic model. The Diamond Clean is NICE. I selected the rose gold model and it looks very stylish. I especially love the compact travel case. I never traveled with my old Sonicare because the case was too bulky. It was easier to pack a manual toothbrush. This model has a compact, stylish travel case that can also charge your toothbrush via USB. All the different modes are great but because the toothbrush is more advanced I do miss my favorite feature of my old model, which was that I could pop the handle in the dishwasher to clean and sanitize it. While this toothbrush is great, I don’t know that is worth the $200 price tag. If you find a good sale or coupon it’s great. I paid about $115 and think it’s definitely worth that.

There was no doubt in my mind, after the very first time I used it, that there was a definite difference in how my teeth felt after using this and my regular tooth brush. I had that just back from the dentist feeling. I'm actually looking forward to my next teeth cleaning to see if this is making the difference I hope it is. One added benefit, minor though it may be, is I'm using half as much tooth paste. If I use the normal amount, this thing suds it up so much I look like Cujo before I'm finished. Makes a good tongue scrubber too. Thought about getting a lower model because this one is overpriced. The travel kit and charging glass made this the one I had to have though: just setting it in the glass is just too cool a solution and keeps the sink area tidy looking. And the black looks cool (well, as cool as a toothbrush can be expected to look).

Very quiet, solid feel, great charging system that has dishwasher safe components. My teeth are whiter and my gums feel better. Battery lasts a long time and kudos to them for including a travel case that is also a charger!!

I've had toothbrushes from this brand before, but usually the cheaper ones. This time I decided to fork out for the expensive one after misplacing my other one during a trip. The difference was night and day! There are so many settings for different phases of brushing (like gum care, sensitive, whitening) that it got a super thorough cleaning. A plus is that the charger looks like a clear glass, so it isn't an eyesore in the bathroom. You just sit in in the cup (it doesn't have to sit "just right" it just needs to be leaning in the cup somewhere) and it charges! Wonderful, and the travel case is nice, too! Not crummy breakable plastic but more durable and no clasp for me to break (I am so accident prone!)

I have owned 2 other Phillips - Sonicare Rechargeable Toothbrushes over the past 10 years and neither of them even comes close to comparable to this Philips - Sonicare DiamondClean Rechargeable Toothbrush! this toothbrush is very light weight and has a comfortable thinner handle that makes it easier to maneuver around in your mouth. It has 5 different settings that range from a vigorous "polish" mode down to a gentle mode that you would use if you were just starting to use a power toothbrush or if you needed extra gentle brushing. Each setting has its own specific timer that will shut the toothbrush off when it is done. I prefer the "whitening" mode that runs for 2.5 mins. with a pause every 30 secs. so you know when to move to the next quadrant in your mouth and an extra 30 secs. at the end just to polish up your front teeth. It comes with 2 brush heads that are easy to replace, a brush cap for traveling, a USB charging travel case as well as the regular wall charger, a glass base (which is dishwasher safe) that fits down in the charging base which holds the toothbrush up-right while it charges. After brushing with this toothbrush, my teeth feel as clean as if I had just had them polished by a dentist.

This is my first time ever using an electric toothbrush and I must say, it's neat and easy to use. Connect the toothbrush bristle, run some water over it, place some toothpaste over it, put the bristle inside your mouth, and start brushing. Simple. With that said, however, there are a few things one has to remember to do before you start brushing. First, determine what setting you want to use before you put toothpaste onto the brush. Because once there is toothpaste on the brush and the brush is not in your mouth and it's vibrating, the toothpaste is gonna fly everywhere. So know what setting you want to use first. Another thing you gotta remember to do is to charge the toothbrush once in a while. Luckily, charging the toothbrush is simple and easy since it gets charged wirelessly. It is just a simple act of placing the toothbrush inside the charging cup. Using an electric toothbrush didn't BLOW my mind or change my world but it is convenient and I do feel that it does a better job than manual brushing when it comes to cleaning my teeth. I recommend it.

I've been using Sonicare for 5 years and this is the best product so far. Well built and easy to use and clean. Does an excellent job cleaning teeth and gums. I like the compact brush head that pushes into the unit instead of the older larger heads that screw into the unit like my last Sonicare. Battery lasts a long time between charges. I bought this product on 4/23/15 and so far, using it 3-4 minutes a day, it is still on the initial charge.

I have had a lot of dental work done and I want to protect my mouth as much as I can. This toothbrush is the best investment for my mouth and insures its health for a long time.
