Second purchase

It seems there are 2 very similar models, one say says it has a lithium battery and the other says it has Nih battery. But upon opening both the specs both say the are Nih batteries. Inconsequential as you really only brush for 2 mins and likely won't run into battery issues.

Very good toothbrush

The light on the on/off button allows you to see if it's charging, and if it needs a charge. It would be nice if it had a travel case, but that would likely increase the cost and it does have a clear cover for the brush itself. Has very good cleaning capabilities too.

Phillips Electric Toothbrush

The one's I have had previously sat on a peg and then dirt, water and excessive toothbrush would pool there, make it look really unappetizing, an would be hard to clean. The design of this toothbrush is sleek and they have eliminated this problem.

On 1st couple of uses I thought it was a little abrasive but it is fine. It has a timer and rechargeable battery. The battery usually last me about 2 weeks

Philips Sonicare Essence Electric Toothbrush

I don't think I can regularly use a manual toothbrush again unless going on vacation. It deeply cleans your teeth and long lasting battery life. The downside is that the inside of the brush is hard to clean.
