This item works very well for cooking food in a healthier way. No oil. Oil in the food being cooked is dripped away, but creates somewhat of a mess, but not too difficult to clean. Biggest negative for me is the small amount of food that it will hold. Unit is quite big but only hold 4 chicken legs at once. Cooking big quantity takes a long time.

This Phillips unit works great and is easy to clean. The airfried foods we've done have been great. The unit is super easy to use and cooks most foods quickly. The basket is a little on the small side but handles most foods well.

I'm a big fried food guy (the gut tells it all), so when my wife wanted me to stop using my grease/oil Fry-Daddy, I got a bit sad. Baking chicken strips is not what I'd call a suitable alternative. There's no good crunchy, crispy texture, and it just tastes "different". AIRFRYER TO THE RESCUE!!! Not only does this thing crisp up frozen chicken strips in a matter of about 12-15 minutes, but the taste is identical to that of a Fry-Daddy! I've also made my own fries, which taste amazing, and my wife likes to fry up okra and other things in it! With all the settings and recipe book/cooking time sheet that comes with this thing, you can literally fry, bake, grill, and roast just about anything you want in this bad boy! Plus, it's SUPER easy to clean! I highly recommend!

The Philips Air Fryer is my new favourite kitchen item! I use it at least twice a week if not more. French fries made in it require just a little spritz of oil from an oil sprayer (or PAM).. and come out crispy and as delicious as if you fried them in a deep fryer... MUCH HEALTHIER!

I am still in shock that i can have all my favorite deep fried delicacies without the FAT!

Product works great and is easy to use. Just wish the basket was bigger.

Got one as a gift and love it! I wanted to get my best friend a special gift for her 65th birthday -- so I thought this would be great! Her birthday was just yesterday ... and I'm hoping she loves it and uses it as much as I do!

Hardly any oil . Nice crispy chicken , fish works great . We love it not much smell like regular fryers , clean up is easy too .

I love this fryer. The fries did not taste the same as fried but the patties turned out so crisp as if they were fried. I also use it to crisp veggies which turn out great.

It works. The hot air makes baking faster. With some coat of oil it is closer for frying. It produces crisp outside and juicy inside result. Overall I like it. But it comes only with one net or grate bottom, so if you have anything that gives a lot of juice, like a patty or a piece of meet, it will be lost. There are options, but you need to buy them separately and I assume they are not cheap. It's pretty compact, so overall practical. I use it often, but still didn't try for anything from its cookbook. I think it overpriced since it just a hot air blower without any smart control, even timer is mechanical.

After reading the cookbook and reviews we tried a few things. Some ideas were not successful, but this air fryer does in fact make excellent french fries! They are healthy and fun and if for no other reason this air fryer gets a 5 star rating. Although a little on the heavy side, any smaller would not be practical, you need to think ahead about storage space, but it is attractive if you want it on the counter.

this Air fryer is a 5 star.. I enjoy all fried foods i like with no mess.. who wants to clean up all the oil and do soo much to prepare a good food? this small thing do its job right

Really great for healthy eating. The fried stuff is comparable to deep fried items.

We were extremely happy with the taste after using the air fryer, as well as not having the hassle of using any oil, which always left our apartment with oily smell!!

Wife wanted this to make wings at home. It works very well and is easy to clean. Need to extend recommended cooking times for crispier foods, but that's just a personal preference.

I love chicken strips, fried chicken and french fries but as I got older (30's) all that fried food began to catch up with me and I became more health conscious, giving up the deep fryer in hopes of improving my health and losing a few pounds. Now, several years later my wife and I bought this Philips Air Fryer and we are both pleased with it. French fries are not as good as when deep fried, but much better than baked. We've tried just one brand of chicken strips whic seem to have too much breading and come out very dry, but where this air fryer really shines is with fried chicken, where there is some fat in the meat and the skin comes out crispy and delicious. For that alone, it is worth having. It is very easy to use- just set the temperature dial and timer to get it started. The basket assembly slides out for easy cleaning.

Great flyer, been trying lots of different dishes. Didn't have in stores, only gripe it is quite large.
