This thing is awesome. The fries homemade or frozen are better then any restaurant. I also got it on deal of the day so it makes it even better. I RECOMMEND THIS!!!

I live in Southern California and it's just too hot to use an oven right now. It's already paid for itself because I'm buying less takeout and cooking more at home. I like the taste and the texture of what I've cooked so far. Haven't tried fish & chips yet. I also like to roast food with it before I put it in an Instant Pot because it brings out so much flavor. I wanted the analog version to have more control over the cooking. The only downside is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of add-ons for this model, since it's smaller, but I'll figure out some type of hack to make cooking in layers easier - am not concerned about that.

If I can use this for a guy who can’t cook, you can too. I was always hesitant with buying an air fryer because everyone was buying them and didn’t think they were that great...but man was I wrong!! This has been my Best Buy at Best Buy. I got this product for $60 from original $200 on deal of the day so I had not much to lose. This air fryer can fry your potatoes, or your frozen Mozarella sticks and much more that I haven’t tried, but have found videos of other foods online. If you’re looking for an air fryer this Philips air fryer is worth it and I’m sure all the others are too.

Title says it all. My wife and I were very impressed with how little there is to clean and how easy it is to use. I have read others thought that air fryers in general were too loud, but I would say this is no louder than a microwave running. The capacity is a little small, but is probably going to be fine for our family of 3.

I have cooked so much food in this and everything comes out amazing! Several kinds of veggies, tofu, veggie burgers, veggie donuts and pizza.... even a copycat “blooming onion” tasted so much better in this. I love fried food but the grease always upset my stomach so this is perfect since it is low or no oil. The foods are so tasty you don’t even need dipping sauce! This is the best investment i have ever made!!

Hands down the best air fryer !!! Makes delicious healthy food and quick ! I recommend this to anyone who has been thinking about buying one! Easy meals and easy clean up! Wish I discovered this sooner.

This air fryer is easy to use, makes great food, and above all is made by Philips a very reliable brand. You can't go wrong, especially when its on sale!

I have used the philips viva air fryer for months now. Overall, I am satisfied, but it's not perfect. I don't think it's worth more than $70. Pros: Makes More Crispy Wings Better hot air circulation Cons: Causes excessive smoke when cooking (due to uncleanable oil and grease trapped inside) Timer dial knob is not accurate. I am satisfied for the price I paid ($70 or something). But I wouldn't pay more that. The selling point for the philips brand is that the bottom of the tray has a fan shaped deflector that helps generate hot air from the bottom back up to the bottom side of the food. This feature is proved to be effective. I have compared side by side with the Gourmier brand with making air fried wings. The philips always gives out drier and crisper texture. Philips purposely make the max temp to be 390 instead of 400 in order to give way to its more expensive model. But even at 390, it seems to be sufficient. The timer knob is not so accurate, e.g. turning to 4 mins or less would not turn on the thing. You need to turn to at least 5 or more minutes for the air fryer to start. Also, after a few months of use, oil and grease are trapped inside the fan and heating element, making the air fryer generate lots of smoke . I can now only use it in my backyard. The Gourmier brand doesn't generate this kind of smoke even after a year of usage.

Doesn’t taste exactly like deep frying but a healthy alternative with lighter crust. Doesn’t look good on the counter definitely a hide in the pantry item.

I am glad that I purchased it. Now I use it every week. For the product itself, I would give five stars. The reason of giving four stars is because the recipe book wad misding. The purchase was supposed to include one airfryer and one recipe book. But when I opened the package there was no recipe book. Not sure who I should contact to request the recipe book. I was expecting to use it to learn how to cook more delicious food with this great airfryer, a little bit disappointing.

I just picked up my air fryer and brought it back to work with me. I set it up and made some frozen taquitos for my coworker and some frozen spring rolls for me. It cooked so quickly and evenly. Both meals were crispy and delicious. I got it on sale but it is actually worth full price!

We have prepared a few different things in it so far, and everything turned out great! I would recommend googling recipes for air dryers though, to get he best taste out of your food in terms of not being dry and chewy.

We had been wondering about air fryers, so we bought this one when on sale. It has been really good! Great French fries - taste better when sprayed with oil and seasoned before cooking. I'm keeping this unit out on the counter top since we use it so much!

We can't tell the difference in quality or cook times between this unit and the much more expensive digital model. This unit seems superior in every way in terms of ease of use and less to go wrong. So glad this deal came along and saved us over $100!
