Product quality is very good. Product is fairly easy to set-up. Product is a voice to text model. However the problem is trying to locate the transcription software. The software previously use is no longer support by Phillips. The suggested software is difficult to figure out and trying to contact them for assistance is ridiculous. My purpose for purchasing the device was to be able to transcribe to text. I'm at a loss. ???

Simple to use but with a variety of options and features. Wished the voice activated recording worked without pushing the record or having the recorder turned on all the time

When you buy a Philips, your going to be a happy customer! I love the features on this device and the ease of use as well. Quality is superb for audio and the sound is very clear.

Just bought this shinny Recorder from Best Buy and the one I was looking at was sold out at Office Depot. It’s records great with my voice, no distortion or background noise. It’s great for taking lecture notes and doing my scientific investigations. I couldn’t get a better Recorder than Philips and it’s such a reliable product that I plan to get an Advanced Recorder with Voice Sympathy. Thanks...

I took this to a press junket and the audio was good enough at close range to get the audio I needed. Haven't had to replace the batteries in spite of using it for nearly 9 straight hours, and the files aren't huge, so the internal space is more than adequate.

Works great, Price was reasonable for product received.

If your looking at this you might find it cheaper or even better but in a pinch this will work well and is easy enough to use and it's a modest size not huge but by no means mini or micro so its friendly to the older users don't want to misplace it or lose it in a pocket

Worked well but not for what we wanted it or, more of a study recorder

Intended to use for ghost hunting recording. In an large old abandoned building where voices echo off the walls, the recordings came out very clear. And for those wondering.. yes, we found so much evidence.

Compact, clear voice recorder that is easy to carry with you. It can really be a life saver when you need evidence to prove you're innocent. An important tool to have with you all the time.

This was a good backup/replacement for my Sony recorder. It is a bit thicker than the Sony however, so it fits less well for my purposes (slipping this into a mic sleeve to go on a mic). I also think the menu is slightly harder to navigate, and you have to get the settings right first before use as the audio it picks up isn't as clear unless you make sure you have the right sensitivity selected. Sony is more intuitive, but this is a great backup option.

I really wish I could give it a great review, but I cant I am disappointed that its not so easy to use, and the audio has got lost, it should not be so hard and undependable, my use for it was to record our family history that wont be happening with this device.

Great recorder for the price. Used it several times to record meetings and class lecturers. The microphone picks up from quite a distance. Very satisfied. Had always used cassette recorders in the past. This is much better. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The size and efficiency is more than I would have expected.

Reasonable cost and excellent storage. Yet, encountered some utilization challenges and instruxtion booklet has the smallest print ever!
