Seemed to load up pictures, audio, and video automatically which I did not want to access, making sorting a bit cumbersome. I would rather go to the above files and select the several I wanted to import into pinnecale!!

Overall this software is great. It comes with a lot of editing tools and when burnt to blu-ray dvd looks professional

Bought for a DVD project I was working on, learning curve is 3/5...took a while to get what I needed done, but when all was said & done, did the job...was impressed with all the export options...

did not know how to use or find the transitions and titles. took me over a month to realize how many free titles and transitions came with this software. no help when you call help line cause they only deal with Roxy products and when you go on line and ask for help no one emails you a response back. I am still waiting on a response to how to get my pinnacle 6.0 to work on windows 8. poor poor customer service. not buying any more version of this product

Good software for video editing. Not easy to use out of the box. You need to spend some time to learn.

The Pinnacle Studio 16 Ultimate is easy to use, along with HD movie support. The non-linear editing has always been a feature of Pinnacle.

This latest release has added features but most importantly doesn't hang.

Does everything I need it to do. Not much of a learning manual though. Slow going figuring everything out.

It basically is the same as the product "Avid" which came out about 18 months ago. Both products want you to "purchase" an instructional video to learn better how to use their product. I have always felt this should be free to the owner.

Have started using this product to make home movies from my photographs. So far so good.

I have owned Studio 4, 6, 9, 11 and 14. They were all much easier to work with ... AND ... came with a Year Phone Tech support. Now you have to go online (the new way tech support) for help or pay a $20 per call fee. Greed is king ... You would think $129. would at least offer installation support. I had to un-install and re-install six times and with the help of Microsoft finally got it working.

I do a lot of video editing for YouTube however I am not trained in Video Editing and need something that does a professional job and yet is so easy to use anyone can use it. Well THIS IS THE PROGRAM! Very simple, professional results, very good price. What more can you ask for?

Always was hesitant to pay so much for video editing program, when there were many 'free' versions out there. But they always fell short. Or, after hours of work, made you pay to get a final working copy. Picked this up for half off during a deal of the day special. Glad i did.

If you are looking for video editing software that lets you combine lots of separate tracks for video and audio, this is the way to go.

I decided to upgrade from Pinnacle Studio 12, but it was ill decision. The program won't transfer HD video from my Sony HVR-Z1U without skips. Pinnacle Studio 12 transfers them without problems. It is also won't open old Studio 12 projects, so I decided to stick with Studio 12.

my daughter uses it and likes it a lot and did have to take time to figure it out

Tried to return when I realized that it was not compatible with the devices I used to take pictures and videos the day after I bought it but best buy would not allow this. I am trying to return now to the software company for a refund. They have a money back guarantee.

I could not install this on a newer Windows 7 machine. The product website revealed that this is a major recurring issue. Several possible workarounds offered by the product maker. Contact with customer service revealed more time consuming, "possible" fixes for the problem. I bought this to make a collage for my brothers funeral. I am computer and software literate. I had a week to do it and could not resolve the problems with this software. I bought this software because of it's price relative to other similar products. In this case, I did not come close to getting what I paid for and I regret the purchase. In reviewing Corel's policies for returns and replacements, I found that the company has an extremely user un-friendly policy, despite the common problems with the product. In a nutshell, I highly recommend you avoid this product and anything else produced by Corel. I am learning first hand why the once huge company lost it's market wars with Microsoft and has been reduced to an unknown name. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME or MONEY!!
