I own a Marantz NR1605 and now a Denon AVRS910W, both setup completely in 30 minutes or less. The Pioneer VSX-90 failed setup my first time through because the wireless dropped and could not regain connection. I did a factory reset but still couldn't get the wireless running. I finally strung an Ethernet line from my router in the next room and wired the receiver. Setup was not intuitive but did complete. Once completed the receiver produced very nice sound. I was then able to initialize the wireless and disconnect the wire. After a few hours of not using the unit I believe it's energy saving routine kicked in and dropped the wireless. I was unable to reconnect. Using the remote app from my iPhone I could not wake the unit up, I had to use the unit's remote. After fighting with it for a few hours I again got the wireless working only to have it disconnect the next day. After a week of this I returned the unit and purchased the Denon.
Summary - do not purchase this unit unless you will have it in the same room as your internet router and intend to run a wire to it. BTW - I did NOT have any wireless issues with either the Marantz or the Denon receivers.

This receiver is great! A bit of a learning curve as far as setup but the app makes it easy.

I like all aspects of this receiver but the surround sound is the best. The Bluetooth doesn't connect automatically and had some drop-offs. I prefer the Amazon fire interface to the built-in Pandora and Spotify interfaces, but still nice functionality.

Good for a small home theater, limited amount of watt can't power enough speakers unless you use an external amp.

Found out the hard way that lower end reciever price equals a lower quality. It kept shutting off for no reason. The remote control didn't have features that made it easy to switch between components and it wasn't compatible with our sub.

unfortunately for me bluetooth wont stay connected and wireless works when it wants to despite the receiver telling me there is a connection. Very buggy system that Pioneer support admitted is a problem they are trying to fix with update. The Smart phone app is as bad as the reviews say it is. Stays connected for less time than bluetooth and wireless. Sound processing for movies is very good. When it works its a very good value.
Very disapointed and will be going with Marantz receivers going forward.
