This being my 4th Pioneer AV receiver, I am absolutely thrilled with the product. I bit wonky to setup the ATMOS surround, but the quality of sound is incredible. Matched with the Pioneer ATMOS speakers, it is better than theater quality sound. A requirement for those infatuated with an intense Home Theater experience

Sound is great but having issues with sound dropping out with DirecTV and no WiFi.

This amp had enough power for my speaker setup as well as all the right inputs but the SC-87 was on sale so I exhcnaged it and ordered the upgrade. I primarily did it so I wouldn't have to buy a phono Pre-amp yet because this receiver has no phono input.

Updated my home theater with this very nice Pioneer Elite Amp. Home theater sounds incredible now that I can bi-amp my Klipsch speakers. Recommended.

Great product, terrific sound,easy to set up and program.

I purchased this receiver on close out and for the price I couldn't be more happy. The only downfall is that it doesn't come blue tooth capable. You need to purchase a separate device to plug into the back. I just assumed everything is blue tooth capable now, especially for all the other features on the receiver.

The sound quality of my system was improved significantly although i still use my old speaker setup. I am researching on some good ceiling speakers for additional surround sounds. Should be amazing!

I had to replace my old surround sound system, which was a Bose a favorite of the house, we had the Pioneer Elite installed and watched a movie, it is the best sounding system ever.

I have owned several AV receivers over the past few years but nothing has come close to this unit. Built for the future it has HDMI 2.0 for 4K up-scaling and the video processing is unmatched. There are seemingly endless settings for dialing in the unit to any need and the automatic sound set up is by far the best I've ever used. This is a serious unit best suited for large setups but if you have the space and equipment this receiver for you.

Working great. Got this to replace VSX-44. The Vsx had all of it's HDMI inputs burn out, for lack of a better term. Hoping it won't happen to this one. The 9.2 is awesome.

Way better than onkyo!! Lost him board in Tokyo, been repaired 3 times. Had this one 6 years, works flawlessly, amazing sound!

I am very pleased with the sound and construction of this receiver. It is a bit tall compared to others but it has ever bell and whistle I wanted.

Purchased this receiver as it is Atmos upgradeable,works like a charm. Pioneer Elite receivers have been in my theater for 25 years.

This is awesome receiver. I've got this receiver on sale for pretty much nothing. You cannot go wrong purchasing this item.

I wanted to wait until the Dolby Atmos firmware update was finally available to be able to honestly review this product. Well lets just say words can't describe how much I'm in love with this receiver. I also purchased the entire Pioneer Elite Atmos enabled speaker system to make my setup the 5.1.4 powerhouse. The receiver was easy to set up and I actually like the MCACC Pro Room Calibration that this receiver offers out of the box. I had a chance to try out Transformers Age of Extinction and I couldn't believe how well this sounded in Dolby Atmos . The up-conversion of 1080p content to 4KUHD also worked very well. I highly recommend this product, but remember this was meant for Atmos so do yourself a favor and buy the complete Pioneer package.

Pioneer Elite makes one of the best receivers on the market for this price point. I love all of the features.

Exceeds all of my needs with its array of sofisicated controls and beautiful sound.

Inconsistency when turning on TV mode no sound everything else works awesome I have to change it to radio then go back to tv in order to get the sound going

Excellent build quality and sound. If they could make it for half the price.
