I was looking for a nice two channel receiver to power SVS Ultras and Prime Towers with dual SVS SB-1000 subwoofers. This receiver has just about everything you need to stream different sources. I love the purchase as my music is crystal clear.

We purchased this for an audio system we were putting together. We were looking for an amp with dedicated phono inputs with a ground-wire connector for our more than 30 year old Mitsubishi fully automatic, quartz-lock, direct-drive turntable because it doesn’t have a pre-amp built in. We were concerned that it might not be able to power our Martin-Logan speakers but that was an unnecessary concern as this amp has plenty of power and the amp does a great job. As an added bonus, this amp has a USB port on the front that we didn’t care about when we bought it. But the amp has a built-in decoder that works great and plays wav, mp3 and wma files flawlessly. We formatted the flash drive with Windows and if you set up the folders the way you want, the flash drive is easy to navigate with the included remote. We have all our music converted digitally and stored into folders according to our listening preferences on one drive. We then can easily go to the folder and playlist that we want at the time and listen for hours. We initially bought this to play vinyl but the USB can’t be beat for pure laziness. Speaking of laziness and versatility, this receiver connects to our Wi-Fi and streams Pandora and Sirius/XM like a champ. We got more than we were expecting with this very capable receiver/amp. If you’re looking for surround sound you’ll have to look elsewhere because this is only 2 channel for stereo listening.

This is a great receiver. The quality is high and it is easy to use. I am very happy with it. The only drawback is that it doesn't pick up radio stations clearly. I would need to purchase a high quality antenna.

This has the basics for my reviving my repaired AR floor speakers and turntable (really enjoy pulling out the old vinyl collection!). In addition, the tech updates provide the versatility for TV, Airplay, Wifi, iPhone, MacBook & Bluetooth.
I wanted to stick with the 2-channel format and had my eyes on a Yamaha but this Pioneer is as good plus it's more technically up to date and a good price.

I'm using this to power 4 sets of speakers, some quite a way from the receiver in my yard.
Unit has wifi, Bluetooth and free app I loaded on my iPhone to control music source, artist selection, volume etc. everything.
Hi tech appearance of unit and easy setup makes it a really great value.

Has great sound and very adaptable to the digital world. Streaming audio from the Internet or from your home computer or blue tooth device this thing is great.running my old amplifier off of the pre outs gives me tons of power. The sound quality is very surprising. Best receiver for your money.
Phone app makes this receiver worth every penny and more. Controls everything and easily displays huge music libraries 600 plus cds easily browse to find what you're looking for.

I really like this Stereo Receiver. I bought it mostly for it's aesthetics and internet capability. I love the adjustable base/treble knobs on the front, but really only adjust them if I happen to be walking by.
The only thing keeping me from giving it a perfect 5/5 is that it doesn't have the ability to easily adjust the base/treble directly on the remote without having to go to through a menu; also the interface to set up and navigate through the internet setup and Pandora, etc., is a little cumbersome. At a $600 price point, I feel that the base/treble buttons should be on the remote of a stereo receiver, but I am still happy with the purchase overall. Outside of that, the adjustable amber dimming display and sleep timer (10-90 min) were also major contributors to my deciding on spending the extra money on this stereo receiver over other brands.
It sounds great and powers my large, Klipsch R-28F speakers beautifully at both low and high volumes. I don't have anything to hook up to the subwoofer or secondary set of speakers, so I can't comment on those aspects yet. The receiver is able to power my Klipsch R-28F with dual 8" woofers and have enough bass coming through at a +4/10 bass setting even at low volumes that I have held off on the sub for now. I like to keep the treble at +10/10.

This Pioneer Elite SX-N30 is a wonderful stereo that fills a need for a competent stereo only device. I use it in a 2.1 setup (2 towers and 1 powered sub) and the music is beautiful. I have used bookshelf and tower speakers and for now am staying with the towers but one day I will put some Magnepan MMGs in there as the SX-N30 is capable of driving 4 ohm speakers.
It looks good, is easy to use and other than the Onkyo TX-8160 I cannot think of another receiver I would enjoy as much. I listen to Pandora One and SiriusXM along a variety of internet stations that are so easy to find and enjoy with this stereo.
No regrets. No buyers remorse. Just what I wanted. Music.

Receiver works well, but would work much better if I had been given the correct remote that belongs with the unit. Had to order a replacement online, which is similar but not correct.

This receiver had too many features I didn't want, Ethernet, Bluetooth, however, it was great for my Project turntable and Bowers/Wilkins speakers. Both the wattage and the processing are ideal for the system I have. Not being a computer geek, I did find it difficult to connect to my Ethernet, so I gave up so now and just enjoy my music. Otherwise, it's it great receiver.

This is for my music system, not for tv or games. Special phono input, cd and tape deck inputs. Blue tooth and wi-fi expands my music options. Set up quickly with no issues, sounds great with plenty of power for the price.

I can only say that I was not surprised one way or another. the product functions As Advertised. Sound quality seems to have more to do with the Speakers than the Receiver
