These are great sounding speakers for a low price. I have the center channel speaker and the bookshelf speakers in this line from last year. I also have the newer Pioneer subwoofer that goes with these. Together they make for a great sounding home theater system that will not break the bank. These towers are louder then last year's models and they have a good bass extension. I am currently running an 80hz crossover on my receiver and it seems to be the right setting to get the best out of these. If you are in the market for a great sounding system for less money then these are a very good choice.

the speakers have a great sound and the price was very affordable

Very good sounding speakers. Need a good amp in order to push them. Very warm sound without distortion. Especially good for listening to music. Great value for the price.

First I would like to say. The writing on the speaker is misleading. Even on the Box. It says a PAIR of Speakers. It is not. I only Got ONE SPEAKER. SO I guess only one speaker is a pair. Singular or plural? It does sound Good for one speaker. Looks good. It has a good weight to it. It has an attachment to hang this in the corner of the wall aswell. It does sound good though. I got it really fast for regular ups. That was nice. You will need speaker wire to run. Great speaker though.

These are great bang for the buck speakers. I upgraded my LCR from the Energy Take Classics to these when I finally had the space to do so. The Energy speakers are good for their price as well, but the Pioneers play more full range. I'm very happy with the purchase and gave my brother a set of these as well.

Got them while on black Friday sale in store for about 67 a piece!! What a deal. Upgraded from Polk audio monitor 30 and it really is a night n day upgrade. I will never buy Polk again. Thanks best buy for the great deal!

Was looking for some economical speakers for Christmas gift to son. He needed something to play tunes on and bookshelf speakers did not fit right in his location. Stands would have just been something to knock over so floor standing speakers made the most sense. I pretty much relied on the recommendations of others since it is hard to demo the speakers in an aisle at the store. They sounded decent and the price was right.

We were looking for an inexpensive pair of tower speakers for a relatively small listening area. These Pioneer speakers consistently received great reviews from a number of sources. So we purchased a pair at Best Buy and yes, these sound great!

These sound so good for there price. You cant compare them to super high end audio. But there is very little that i have heard that sound this good for this price. No matter what i throw at these speakers they sound great.

These speakers are fantastic. Better in a larger room than a small. Subwoofer is not needed the bass is more than satisfactory. I bought the matching subwoofer a week later and almost returned it. Kept it because it was priced so low and just gives enough extra bass for those songs that could use it. Small rooms need some type of acoustic paneling or they won't sound good. night and day difference by adding two 24 x 48 acoustic panels to my walls. Running these with a Yamaha integrated amp and U-turn turntable.

These speakers for being on the smaller side have great sound! I would say have them about 8 to 10 inches from the wall for better sound that is what I did after moving them a few times to get the best sound quality!

After reading all the great reviews I decided to make my purchase towards a pair of these speakers. They were even better once they were broken in after the 20 hours of play and then I really got to enjoy them.

BB price matched these with another retailer without any issues so I was able to get 2 speakers for the price of 1 originally priced. These put out great sound and clarity for a small sized home theater room.

GENERAL I have a pair of these in a 360 sq ft theater room. I have them set up paired with the matching center and two bookshelf speaker (will be adding two more to get 7.1). Having spent a lot of money on a projector and screen money was very tight. These speakers came out on sale at frys which Amazon price matched and I decided to give BB a call to see if they would price match as well. They did. Got them same day with store pick up and I get points. SOUND WOW. I paid around $400 for 2 FS, 2 Pair Bookshelf, 1 Center. I have only 1 Pair of BS set up right now and I was blown away. I have a large room and needed great and BALANCED sound. these easily compete with a set worth twice its value. If you're not a hardcore audiophile and are looking to start somewhere this is it. Look no further. FYI my setup is paired with Klipsch Reference 12 sub and Denon AVR.

These speakers sound great.. also have rear speakers and a center and sub, all sound great together. For 129 each ,not a bad deal. They look good on each side of the fireplace component entertainment center.

Every review indicated that these speakers and their matching cohorts were a very reasonably priced way to achieve a nice surround/music sound. I am very pleased with the quality, sound, and look of this matching set. I purchased the center, main floor speakers and the bookshelf/surround speakers as a matching set.

Have these in a 2.0 setup as I'm in an apt. All of that considered the lows are booming and the highs are clean. There's no distortion at any level as far as I can tell without waking the neighborhood

I'm loving these speakers more and more. Nice looks too. Great speakers for the money. I would have expected to pay $200-$300 each for this sound

I reviewed a lot of tower floor model speakers. I wanted something to take the place of Bose 301's. The search led me to Andrew Jones who was with Pioneer a few years back and designed an affordable great sounding system. These are half the price of most all comparable tower speakers are sound much more balanced than the Bose. I also read the complete 5.1 Pionees system that include these is a great sounding theater system for half the price.

These simply are the best sounding budget speakers I have found. The store demos don't do them justice, but they really have a very nice warm sound to them and can cover any type of music.
