Replaced a 17 yr old Pioneer receiver. Good sound, great price, love having HDMI connections and Bluetooth connection that obviously old receiver didn't have but new one does not have integrated power outlet for the subwoofer that previous receiver had. Was nice that subwoofer was automatically turned off and not drawing power when old receiver was turned off.

This was an upgrade for me (my old surround sound system did not have HDMI connections. This was an affordable upgrade. It has great sound quality and is very user friendly. The only downside is that you cannot independently adjust the volume for each speaker. But for the price, it is a trade-off I am willing to make. It has great sound and allows me to connect my kids game systems (2 of them), the Bluray, and chromecast to one easy to use switcher. And I now have extra HDMI connections on my TV if the kids add another game system. I am very pleased with the purchase.

very easy to set up. Ended up not being enough power for the speakers I wanted to use

We needed a smaller system that would fit our newer set up. It does what the expressive ones do just a smaller profile. Just make sure you have some good speakers

I cannot have only channel A. or only channel B. on at one time. They both have to be on. I cannot mute the other speakers. Well I jave speakers in a big room and I dont want it to be loud, I only want to hear 1 speaker sometimes.
