It's got a good sized screen and has great sound quality. Also had a very good equalizer setting. Meant more for Apple than android though. And it didn't come with a remote.

This car radio is great and easy to use. When you plug in an iPhone if automatically shows most of the audio apps like iheartradio and the music app. Bluetooth also works really well too. Music will automatically start to play and is convenient to control as well.

I purchased and had this receiver installed in my 2015 Silverado and love it. I use the Apple CarPlay feature every day. Now that I have the abilities this receiver and Apple CarPlay provide I don't know how I survived without them.

My 2015 Honda Civic lx Way better screen then I could have asked for . Awesome sound added as well gives it more boom and I didn't replace any speakers . I haven't found a screen protector yet because it is a finger print magnet but I love it and I just a cloth to wipe away . Love the colors love the customizations . Awesome

First this stereo was built for use with iphones and works great with them. A lot of fun options and makes just about everything hands free. Also it mirrors your iPhone like maps and some apps. For android use works great with auxiliary or bluetooth. Not many other hands free options that I know of, haven't tried talk to text. Overall there are quite a few options in general. Nice quality touch screen, beautiful blue accents. Awesome ports in the back for usb, hdmi, auxiliary and so on. I'm pleased with this deck, I have an android device and my wife has an iPhone. Works great, you can listen to music andrive have the display turned off. I've owned jvc, Alpine, pioneer and bose stereos. My cars system was bose and that was really nice but this deck is pretty slick as a replacement. I enjoy alpine because prices are usually descent. I found this as open box and purchased at half price, not disappointed at all. Kinda pricey brand new but for those iphone users is highly recommend. Android users I'd recommend if using bt or aux, since a lot of features work with iphone only. Give the demo a test and decide if it's for you.

I have been very happy with this stereo. It's great being able to access my music, podcasts, and MLB games (via the AtBat app) via my car stereo. The hands-free texting and calling features are also pretty great, though they do error out occasionally. Plus, the bluetooth link up is great when I don't want to plug the phone in but still want to listen to music — or when I want to listen to YouTube audio over the car speakers. One quick note: Occasionally, the audio will just cut out when playing music (I have an iPhone 5). The only way I have been able to remedy this has been to unplug and replug in the phone several times. No idea why this happens, but it's rare. While it's annoying, it occurs so infrequently that it doesn't really detract from the day-to-day great experience. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

It has been a long time since I've considered upgrading the head unit in a vehicle. I've been following Apple's CarPlay for a while now and since my new vehicle didn't come with it I finally "bit the bullet" and purchased this one from Best Buy. If you are an iOS user (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad) and want to experience CarPlay this is the best bang for your buck.

This worked great in my 2004 Lincoln Navigator for 4 years until I sold it. We took it out and installed in another vehicle with no issues at all. No regrets at all! Great sound, easy to use, worked great with my iphone.

Bought this double din for my g35 coupe. Because of its touch screen and Bluetooth. It's the best investment I made. Bluetooth automatically connects to my iPhone to listen to pandora. Before I had no option to play any pandora/ own music. Very happy with this product

This is so cool to use it! I can use gps in this screen from my iphone. You can use your favorite music from your iphone to connect this. Love it!

We have had this for 2 weeks now and couldn't be happier. We looked at more expensive options, but for the money, this was all we needed. Carplay works very well on this unit. Siri is responsive and making phone calls and dictating text messages is easy. The interface for Apple music is also intuitive. Capacitive touchscreen makes swiping between screens easy. You do need to keep your phone plugged into the headunit via USB in order to use the carplay features. Otherwise you can simply use Bluetooth to make phone calls and I think Pandora works without being plugged in. We usually keep our iPhones in Mophie Juice packs and we were happy to find out that you can connect through the Mophie Juice pack, which is a plus for us. I can't really comment on the Apple Maps since I haven't traveled anywhere that requires GPS yet. I have used it for 1-2 trips and it seemed adequate.

This has been hands down the Best radio i ever tested ad reviewed. Apple Carplay is a dream come true for iPhone fanboys and works very well with my android phone too, Radio , dvd player ,2 usb inputs , GPS , back camera, This thing even changes color too ,

This pioneer appradio was a great buy. I installed it in my 03 crv and it works great. I have it hooked up to a iPhone 6s Plus and I have the hdmi port hooked up to an Amazon Fire stick to stream Netflix and a number of other video content. Hook up was simple and no complaints. I also price matched it to Amazon and paid $429 which was $171 below sale price

I purchased this radio because I was missing important texts from my daughters while driving. This radio takes care of that problem for me by allowing me to access texts while driving, although at times I can't get everything thing to operate smoothly. Eventually I get to where I need to be navigating the screens, but it could be a little more user friendly for a product I use while I drive. For the most part it is perfect for what I need, sounds good and was reasonably priced.

I love this stereo. I really like the CarPlay option, but since the ios8.4 update to the phone, there seems to be some delay in the radio and phone communicating to start up. But the radio is amazing.

I love the ApplePlay feature it's great I love the navigation and text options if you have an iPhone and your looking for a double din highly recommend this stereo.

I really like this head unit, but I have a small amount of complaints I would like to quickly cover . The user interface feels restricted and it also comes with no remote. For example there is no mute button that you can just press on the screen, and since there is no remote you can't just press a button with a handheld controller either. In order to mute any audio coming through the speakers, you must first press the volume down button and then a mute button pops up on the screen. To unmute you must do the same thing again. That is extremely irritating when you're trying to answer the phone or hear a passenger speak in the car. The CarPlay feature also seems buggy. Ever so often I get "Locked out" and I have to either unplug the phone or reset my phone for it to start doing anything. Often times I will plug my phone in and the screen will just stay frozen and unresponsive. It doesn't happen often enough for me to be bothered enough to want to remove the head unit Though. I honestly feel though that Bluetooth streaming audio is a safer alternative than the CarPlay. When I use the CarPlay feature I find myself looking down at my screen much more often than when I use Bluetooth audio. Pioneer should (but probably won't) adopt wireless CarPlay.

Nice upgrade over the car radio. Only complaints the Pioneer appradio requires a pain in the rear method to connect using both the HDMI cable, and USB, along with a Apple video adapter. I believe more advance models now just use the single USB connector. Also, the unit is not SiriusXM ready, not a deal breaker, but considering the kit only cost about $40, this would have been a nice add on option.

Absolutely love my new indash. I can play my music louder than before and I've never had touch screen until this. It was definitely a great update!

So I've owned the app radio 1, 2, 3 and now 4, if you would call it V4. It's the first app radio that I feel does what you wanted to do. both USB ports are now powered that's nice. It now has CarPlay, that's nice. Android app radio still works the same but it always worked well. The new audio enhancements set it above the rest. I recommend it.
