Well, first off sound is different for everyone. I happen to love the sound of these speakers. I listened to these in store comparing them to other popular and more expensive brands of the same size ( 6.5") and these are what I preferred. This is the first time I have had 3-way speakers in my door and they sound awesome. I put these in a 96 chevy pickup by the way. Haven't play a whole range of music genres yet but the rock and punk music gives a nice punch with the bass drum and a crisp sound of the cymbals. Just a clear sound of all instruments really. Of course there will be factors you have to account for like your receiver settings and quality of recording. Some mp3's will sound ok through ear buds but when you playback through good equipment there is gonna be a difference so keep that in mind if you're downloading compressed audio. Anyway, great speakers and I got them on sale for $60 for the pair.

This 3 way speaker is exactly what I was searching for nice bass and treble and tweeter helps it come all together. It came with everything in the box wires and all. It was very easy to install. I was afraid I did it wrong. Never installed a car radio speaker before but it was very basic. Stop reading reviews for this price it's a bargain. I'm glad that I purchased these speakers.

I had to replace the speakers in my truck and I wanted to have a little more volume with a higher quality of sound and I got these that have all of what I wanted. Plus they were easy to install, but be warned with some vehicles like my 2004 nissan titan se, I had to buy an additional bracket for them to fit in the truck.

I paired these with the equivalent Pioneer 6X9 speakers for the rear and my new Kenwood unit and I have PLENTY of volume. I get great frequency response across the spectrum...I may at a sub at sometime to give it extra bass but they do a great job as it is.

These speakers really sound great. They really play the highs and lows well. With an EQ, they really sound incredible!!!

I bought these at a really great price to replace my old factory speakers which were blown. They sound way better than my stock speakers ever did before I had to replace them. Easy to install even if you've never installed speakers before.

These speakers have good sound quality, they do not pump a lot of bass, but have a good overall spectrum of sound. Easy to install.

They have A terrific sound specially the bass. The price is great I've checked everywhere else and it's the higher else's where.

I have really enjoyed these speakers. They carry a full range of sound nicely. There is of course always something nicer and more expensive, but for a regular person who doesn't require their music so loud they break windows, these are great. They can still be very loud while maintaining good sound quality, and I definitely like my music loud. I will still add speakers to the backseat to help balance the bass levels throughout, but in the meantime these are carrying me well as standalones. The only issue I have had is a result of Best Buy installation. There is something inside my door that was not properly secured during the install which vibrates consistently for certain frequencies from the speakers. Very annoying.

The speakers are clear and provide great sound. Definitely, with no need for additional subwoofer.

Make sure you check prices on Best Buys website before buying in store. Speakers were on sale online but not in store, had to have store match their website which added time to purchase. Speakers came with instructions and mounting screws. They sound great, definitely compared to the 12 year old car manufacturers speakers.

These sound really good. I am very pleased with the quality and ease of install. The price was perfect for what these sound like. I would imagine others wouldn't sound as well being so cheap. But I love them and would definitely recommend to others.

Needed to replace my factory speakers which just dulled down my music. These pioneers made up for all that was lost and then some. Have been a Pioneer fan for many years and this proves, even after a company buyout that their quality is still there...

I purchased two front speakers from Best Buy as part of a bundle of a car radio and speaker installation. I really like these speakers and are a huge improvement from the factory installed speakers that came with my honda civic. Geek squad will put back original speakers on vehicle if/when you sell vehicle so you can keep the purchased equipment

Great sound, easy to install. Works great for the purpose.

Replaced the 4 door speakers (6" woofers and 4" tweeters) in my truck with a pair of these. High fidelity in a 15 year old P/U wasn't my goal but keeping cost down was. They seem to have pretty good range, and with the remaining B-pillar tweeters, sound is pretty good. Since my old door woofers were blown it is hard to say how they would compare with the original equipment.
