I would definitely recommend this for any aging vehicle you want to breath new life into. This one actually went into an 08 GMC Sierra 2500 and it made it feel like a brand new truck. I could finally use my phone hands free and made me like this truck that much more. Highly recommended and I suggest you do it sooner than later as you won't regret it.

So far, so good! I’ve always had good experiences with Pioneer decks for the last 30 years. Fair price and free installation by Best Buy. Added steering wheel harness and factory USB connector and now my car feels new to me. Looks like original equipment in my 2015 Forester. CarPlay works awesome and honestly that’s all I ever use anymore. Speakers seem to have a little more punch to them. Wireless CarPlay and a resistive screen would be nice but were unnecessary for me and didn’t warrant the price difference.

Excellent Service and Product!! Install was a breeze with Manny!! Apple Car play is great also!! I always go with Pioneer products. From the 8 Track Super Tuner to the Present 1500NEX.

Looks awesome. Great way to convert the old autos into new with advanced features installed - hands free calling, Bluetooth, car play! Volume control knob would have been better but not a show stopper… g8 product so far

Works great with Bluetooth, needs a cord to use gps. Only bad thing is that the guy that installed the radio might’ve been lazy because the place to plug the cord to use for the gps came out from beside my console and it’s a black connection cord. It does not look great but it works fine.

This unit is performing beyond my expectations. Camera picture are clear and bright. Radio quality is very good. Ease of use/ is user friendly even for this 70 year old.

I have a 2017 VW Jetta and this is a great buy. The Volkswagens stock radio are known for issues with Bluetooth. The best way I can explain it it’s similar to back in the day when you had a scratch CD if you purchase this for your vehicle, you will need other parts for it to be successfully installed such as $200 for interface. This controls the device with your steering wheel the other is the plastic piece you see in the picture the one that Best Buy sells is wrong. I actually bought it online, I had it professionally installed at Pacific stereo for $200. Total price invested was $1050. $600 for this receiver, $200 interface, $200 install and $50 for others. Overall worth it

It’s amazing he loves it the techs were great and very understanding couldn’t have surprise my bf any other better way and Best Buy and Best Buy techs made the process great ☺️

Decided to upgrade the stereo on my 2016 VW Passat. Very pleased with this unit. I added a Sirius XM receiver as well. My wife decided she wanted one as well so we ordered another one. The installation from Best Buy was great as well.

A big improvement from my stock radio in my 1500 Sierra. Other purchases are needed for devices to make features work. (Steering wheel control, and xm radio) I have an issue when making or receiving calls, the system reboots, and the systems “voice” is extremely loud even while the volume is set low I am looking into getting that issue resolved. Phone must be plugged in also to use Waze and music apps.

The sound quality is amazing & I love the fact that you can change the colors & that there are physical buttons. I wanted to love this so much but it just wouldn't connect at times and it was so slow and came up with errors. Also, it doesn't have Facebook messenger and a lot of other features that newer systems have like screen mirroring for example. The sound quality is on point so I gave it 3 stars plus due to physical buttons and preset sound settings are nice.

Great product , buying experience great and the installation department completely satisfied, definitely will add more products from Best Buy

I have a 2004 savana and I am really glad that i purchased my pioneer dmh-1500nex is so easy to use and you can change the screen and face color to match your dash if you do choose to lol when you plug up your phone into the USB port it automatically connects to GPS it was a great buy for me I would recommend this radio

The deck pairs seamlessly with my iPhone. It’s so cleanly designed and it’s completely non distracting while driving. So nice to always have navigation at the ready and CarPlay cleverly allows instant access to your three most used most recent apps. So switching between podcasts, music and maps is a breeze.

Love it! It works great and the led colors make it even better on my 2007 Hyundai Accent.

Great product I got one 2 years ago and every time the company come out with a new product I get one.

Finally updated my plain factory head unit I now have gps and other apps on the screen. I also purchased and wired in the Maestro wiring kit to get more options like tire pressures on the head unit. Only thing the backup camera is not very bright and good quality as factory but good enough for what its used for.

Tech very knowledgeable pointed out everything..showed me small crack in face of radio and that I would be getting a call within few days about it.

Unit is well built and sounds good and does what it should. Installation could have been done better
