Good sound Easy to set up. The sound was very good for the money I paid,

I was having trouble with my original receiver in that it would take at least an hour to make sound. The unit I purchased was an open box model and I strictly bought it for the reduced price. Setup was not as straight forward as I had hoped. The instruction manual just directs you to the automated setup routine found by wireless devices or by the remote. To be fair I have a mixed bag of devices and use a Logitech Harmony remote. After using some work around wiring I had sound. Fortunately my Logitech Harmony Remote recognized the new receiver and I was in business by coping a old configuration and replacing my new receiver for the old one. I'm still exploring the features and haven't been delving into the complexity and adjustments. Curse you Netflix for my binge watching habit! Overall a good buy, I'm pleased.

I had a Pioneer predecessor to this model for many years, and it worked great until it just stopped functioning properly one day. So I did a little research and this was the current model in the same vein. Went out and bought it at BB, brought it home and plugged it in and hooked it up the same way as the prior Pioneer, and it works great! I use the iPhone app to control it.

Originally purchase a Denon receiver, but it lacked that power I was looking for. Went to return it and a sales person recommend this Pioneer Elite. Bought it, took it home and hooked it up to my Klipsch Ref 5.1 set up and was smiling ear to ear. Only drawback is the Pandora feature is a little hard to use. Other than that, rock solid amp with no problems.

I bought this to run klipsch in wall speakers and I couldn't be happier with the sound it produces.it can be a little tiresome setting up,but the output in the end is worth it.I would say one of the best 5.1 receivers out there.it has all the bells and whistles.great value for the price.

Very Easy to set up. Sounds great and only took me a hour to set up

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Pioneer receiver that I purchased for my home theatre. It has just the amount of power I needed creating outstanding sound and video quality. Best part of all is that I was able to install and configure it myself without the help of a technician.

Easy to use remote and hookup. Excellent sound and great looking.

This is a great receiver, it has hdmi plugs, an outlet for gaming system to hook up for ultimate gaming experience, and I like that it has bluetooth to stream music from your phone, or other bluetooth devices, I don't think you would go wrong purchasing this receiver.

Easy to set up excellent quality very happy with purchase

The audio system installed was very nice in looks, and in sound quality. The remote control was needed so as to not have a table full of remotes. It has taken a little bit to get use to the controls. But turning a certain component on or off is a breeze.

This receiver is great for 4k and dual channel. The sound is nice and has an awesome ability to adjust all the different levels of each speaker. The self set up did a very good job at distancing the speakers from the listener. 4 out of 5 because the features and set up could have been done through a better interface. I had to go through each setting to get the sound that I wanted and adjust the subwoofer correctly. Almost all receivers have this issue of setting the front speakers to small (even if they are tower speakers) just so the sub will work correctly. Receivers need to be better programed to recognize this. Especially for a Pioneer Elite.

After our received died, we headed to best Buy to check them out. THe gentleman that helped up was extremely helpful and knowledgable. We chose this product as it did what we needed without too many bells and whistles. It has worked beautifully and we are once again enjoying fantastic surround sound.

Saw this go on sale and read many reviews online that were mostly favorable, so I went ahead and bought it. I was replacing a Denon receiver that I've had for almost 12 years and it was time to move on. Mostly wanted the HDMI in HDMI out plus bluetooth capabilities. I've been happy with all aspects.

This receiver has everything I need for a home theatre system, and the price is reasonable. And when I had the volume too high, it shut itself off to keep from blowing out my speakers.

I bought mine on a open box and it was a GREAT deal!Sounds great everything works as it should.I went in to find a lower price stereo just to use behind my drums but after getting this home i ended up putting in my front room for my main house stereo and tv.I paid 225.00 for it and that was a deal

I was fortunate to find this on sale for $249 and applied a movers coupon to save even more. For my needs this product delivers exceptional sound quality along with the versality I need. Highly recommend.
