I got this deck for an outstanding open box deal but regardless of price it is an outstanding quality deck. The interface is fairly quick and user friendly, sound quality is excellent, the gps is accurate, and the included mic is very clear - most people didn't know I was calling using my car. The best part about this is the Carplay feature, granted I know this is more dependent on the phone it's self but the deck is quick to connect and switch to the apple interface upon connection. It also sounds phenomenal with their 24-bit DAC. A great buy and if you can still find them in stores or online you can get it for an excellent price.

The backup camera and NAV systems are fantastic. This thing also connects to your phone and reads you your texts. Has a ton of great features and even lets you customize the colors and back screen walls. The only thing I dont like is that the SiriusXM cuts in and out. Ive changed the radio and the Sirius unit once, so the tech advised to move the antenna outside the vehicle, which is a pain.

The new radio has a touch screen and back up camera that has brought my vehicle up to date with many newer cars. This is a great help with safety, maps and music enjoyment.

The radio, with Navigation, Apple Car Play, Blue tooth, a back up camera and Sat Radio tuner is outstanding. Really upgraded my old truck. I am very happy with the product and with the Best Buy install. Lots of features and everything works well. Sound is outstanding.

THIS IS THE BEST UNIT YOU CAN GET... Better than the kenwood dnx573s. The best money I spent on a after market nav. Easy install. Lots and lots of features. DID I MENTION IT'S BETTER THAN THE KENWOOD. I will be installing another pioneer in the wife's truck. The map is easy to use. Hooked up the speed sensor wire. What a difference, when you go over the speed limit that's posted. The speed readout on the map turns red. Just one mile over. Cool. I switched it to night mode, I can see it better in the day. Installed a backup camera also. Great price. Great unit.

Great product. Intuitive touchscreen. Good directions built in. Radio works well. Only two drawbacks: 1- I didn't know I needed to have another item installed to get satellite radio. It would have only been $40 to do it and I would have added it but I thought since the head unit said it was able to do Sirius, I didn't think more of it. 2- Also, the screen defaults to podcasts often. Who ever uses it to listen to podcasts?? It should default to Nav or radio. I combined it with a Pioneer back up camera and it is integrated well. It comes on automatically when I put the car in reverse or I can turn it on whenever I want by clicking some buttons on the touch screen.

I love it and don't know how I ever got around without it. Display is awesome, its user friendly, works great with the DVD player in the back and Bluetooth is flawless. The navigation is amazing but the factory map was out dated and I had to buy a $70 map to see the latest roads which was kind of a bummer. Other small complaint is that this unit doesn't allow HDMI mirroring so I couldn't use with my phone apps and specifically wanted the WAZES app. Other than that it a good buy.

Sound quality improved significantly over the upgraded factory unit in my Toyota. Apple Carplay was the motivating factor in my purchase. Love having all my music at my fingertips. Unit includes Navigation as well. Very pleased with my purchase.

I really like the Apple Car Play and ability to do hands free msging since i HATE texting or being texted. However, it's not always consistent when i plug in my iphone...it doesn't always go back to the original playlist that was playing when I shut off the vehicle. Also, every once in a while, it loses it's mind and logic and i have to do a system reset (ie sometimes the touch screen won't register correctly) Still, I like my Pioneer a lot!

This is a good radio for the clearance price around $550. NAV, Bluetooth, etc. Wish it did more with android over Bluetooth but i think that is more of technology short coming. Looks good and you can customize the background to pictures off if a jump drive. This model didn't have a HDMI port in the back but not really sure what that is needed for.

The radio has a clear, crisp sound, and it uses Apple CarPlay without any problems. The integration into the other diagnostics on my truck (tire pressure, battery status, etc.) was a happy bonus.

We had this installed along with a backup camera and the integration was terrific. Nav system much better than in my Subaru (which has an awful maps program). Bluetooth with phone is wonderful. FYI - Best Buy matches Amazon prices which will save you money.

I needed nav in my car so i opted for the 5200 vs the 4200. Def worth it! Nav takes a little getting used to, but you get the hang of it after a while. It's not as fast and quick as Apple maps, but when you need it, it'll more than get the job done. I like the Apple Carplay, the eq options, the multiple inputs for iphone and android Plus aux. Straight forward self install. Just make sure that you get the correct Double Din install kit. if you're thinking about getting the steering wheel add on...yes! Splurge just a little more and you wont regret it. I installed the GPS unit under my dash to where it peeked out the very front/bottom of the windshield. works like a charm. I've already convinced three other friends to make the upgrade. Def a great investment.

Let me start out by saying that this radio is fantastic. Great GPS and has countless possibilities as far as audio tuning goes. Being an android owner I really wish I sprung for the model with android auto but I can't complain because I didn't realize how useful it would be. My girlfriend on the other hand has an iPhone and I have to say apple car play is pretty cool. But anyway I would fully recommend this radio to anyone who wants an awesome radio with crystal clear sound.

I am very happy with my purchase installed myself. Sales staff were very good helping provided all the extra stuff for the install! l installed it in a 2004 f150 lariet looks really good and works good.

I really wanted a built-in GPS unit, but am not ready to buy a new car. This updated my vehicle with GPS functions and Apple CarPlay. I now can get phone calls while driving without reaching for the phone, and get voice navigation without having to use data from my cell phone. The unit is not complete, in that you need a face plate before you can complete installation and that has brackets which hold the unit in place as well- at least in my case. The screen does not show well enough in bright light in my opinion, so that is a bit of a bummer. Also, the GPS really blared loudly when in use upon setup, compared to the audio of the radio, etc. It took some doing to find out how to reset that, but it is good now. It uses the HERE MAPS for GPS which seems pretty accurate, but is cumbersome if you want to find local places, as you have to manually enter at least part of the name. Not as slick as a Garmin, and I wish the unit had voice commands, for search, but it is what it is. Overall, nice for a built-in, maybe a bit pricey compared to an offline GPS app, and instructions for use not great. But fits and updates vehicles if a built-in is what you are looking for.

I bought this for my 2005 super duty. Absolutely love it. Navigation works without cellular phone. Apple car play is amazing.

I’ve has this unit about a year now. Looks great & works great. But I’ve had to delete all my music off of my iPhone due to this unit. When this unit connects to your Bluetooth device (my iPhone in my case) it sends a signal to play music. Sometimes music starts right away. Sometimes it takes 10-15 min after you get into your car depends on when your Bluetooth connects. Great if your wanting to hear music, terrible if kids are asleep or it’s 3am and your chilling. I’ve contacted pioneer and they say there is no way to turn it off. So every time you get into your car your going to get music and your going to get it at full volume even when kids are asleep or at 4am making neighbors hate you. So I’ve got a lot of money in a radio that has literally caused me to have to delete all music fr my iPhone to keep it fr forcing me to listen to it every time my car starts. Gf refuses to drive my car cause it randomly kicking on at some point in drive scared her so bad she’s nearly wrecked! 3 stars as it does play movies and the Nav is good, but one switch to turn of the auto play would of been amazing!
