Sound is great in my VW Super beetle now although I wish the crossover network was adjustable. The tweeter features an adjustable level which is great for dialing them in for your taste. Overall a great product

I needed to replace the front speakers in my car and I talked to the Geek person and the Pioneer was the best speaker.

They seem to be opening up more as they break in. They differently need more power than an aftermarket head unit (4200NEX) can provide. After market amp helps with performance. Tweeters aren't 'bright', but they are clear and have a nice open sound.
