    Works well with Rekordbox and has all the stuff you need to start out DJing. Docking a star because I could not figure out how to turn this thing off for the life of me--it seems that you just have to unplug it. Also, setting up speakers requires a good amount of thinking and reading the manual to do properly.

    A great and improved looked from the ddj-400. Works seemlessly with my Macbook pro is great to play cross platform on Ipad and iphone (ios). Just grab a good pair of headphones or speakers and start mixing!

    I’m having so much fun using this! As long as you’ve got a good deal of downloaded songs on file, you can start DJing with no subscriptions

    Has all the capabilities to sound professional when doing gigs. Pioneer has good tech support for questions on set up and use of the mixer. I had a few and they were prompt and helpful

    As someone who has no idea what I'm doing, I'm still having a great time learning and playing with this mixer. Plenty of resources online to learn both the hardware and the software Rekordbox. It's pretty much all plastic, but still feels solid enough. Controls are very responsive and it's pretty much plug and play. Wish it came with some RCA cables though.
