Pioneer is a thriller set in the early 80s right before the Norwegian oil boom. Two brothers who are expert divers who, obsessed in reaching the bottom of the Norwegian Sea when tragedy strikes and kills one of the bothers The surviving brother believes his brother's death was more than an accident. With each step he takes to uncover the truth of his brother's demise he places his life in tremendous danger. Pioneer is a solid film with great direction and strong lead cast. The only thing that may turn people away from this film is that the film is both in English and Norwegian. I suggest turning the captions on at the start of the film. The film has a few flaws and may move a little slow at times, but overall the film is a good international thriller. A four star performance and highly recommended for people who are enthusiasts for international thrillers and intrigued with Norwegian historical events.

The bulk of this movie it is in a different language. I didn't know that when I bought it.

Always people have to die because big companies have hidden agendas. Another must see true story that not many people did not know about.

movie was not that good. Not very good cinematography. Another language spoken with subtitles. plt was lacking.

It was not in English. Do not buy. They would nit return it. The cover was in English.

Slow, Boring, Poor Acting. I prefer a replacement movie

This movie has a great plot that keeps you guessing throughout. The underwater footage is amazing too. Recommend.
