I would recommend. I love all all the hdmi inputs. Made it very easy to add all my equipment.

This receiver replaced a 10 year old Yamaha receiver that just was too outdated. I always felt that my Yamaha was a bit short on power. I was pretty sure that the Pioneer SC-71 should give me enough power for my space. I have a 7.1 surround sound system with Klipsch Reference speakers and a Velodyne sub. I was fairly confident this receiver was enough and knew I could upgrade to the more powerful SC-72 if I was wrong. Just didn't want to spend the extra money even though the 72 does have the better DAC. No worries, the SC-71 was enough. However It took me a while to calibrate the sound settings where I liked them. I thought the automatic settings with included microphone set the proper reverberation control but really did not like much else that it did. I ended up manually setting everything. All in all a great product. No real complaints.

Bought this receiver to replace a Harmon Kardon. Love Pioneer sound quality but getting there is unnecessary headaches. Also receiver always default to TV setting regardless of which input selected (for example, TV/SAT is what is desired). John Q. Public doesn't have enough knowledge to decrypt the multiple configuration levels...odd approach by Pioneer Elite.

I'm Very happy with purchase of the pioneer SC71 receiver it has met all of my expectations. It is the best receiver I have had so far, it's performance when I listen to music is great and blueray movies are clear and sound great ! Very satisfied!

I purchased this receiver a few months ago because I was looking to improve the sound quality of my TV and enjoy listening to music. Its great to hear a good sound. Also, you can play pandora and listen to music with you IPOD.

I recently replaced my Integra DTR 9.9 that was having issues with this unit. I am more than happy that I chose the Pioneer. I epically liked how easy it was to set up and the iPad app is great.

Good for home use, sound quality is great. Music caries very well. DVD quality is maintained, both sound and picture. Will not enhance signal but maintain and augment them.

First surround system. We have 7.1 inside and a 2nd zone outside. Easy to use with network setup and the app. We love it. Only issue I have is that it's 5.1 when I have zone 2 in use.

This is probably the most impressive receiver I have used. There are plenty of inputs and power. The app to control the SC-71 works very well.

I am very impressed with this receiver. I was worried that i would need more power to run my B&W CM series system but it definitely does the job. I have the CM9 towers bi-amped and they sound great as well as the CM1s and the CM Center channel. I really have been enjoying the AirPlay feature on this receiver. It is great for Pandora and just using your iPod to listen to music. It sounds so much better then using an auxiliary jack. This is a great product and I am really enjoying it.

There are other great AV receiver at similar price than this receiver, while it sounded great but the set up was very hard, and the system is not very stable, sometimes the system would not have sound even when the volume has cranked up all the way, no matter what I did there would be no sound coming from the speaker when TV is played. Blueray connection is not a problem and play the content without any hesitation.

This is a fantastic Home Theater System that makes you want to stay home and watch movies.

This receiver is another smart audiophile in the room. It has a mind of its own and enhances the audio as you listen. Fabulous receiver.

The price was good for what I had in mind. There were others that had the same features, but more expensive. I was concerned when I set it up, as the sound was not as full as I had hoped. I changed the Speaker setting to 'Small Speakers' and I was surprised at the difference. I am very satisfied with this Pioneer Elite SC-71.

Great receiver. I am new to this having never owned a receiver prior, so it wasn't the easiest to set up, but this receiver has a lot of options, very customizable and plenty of ability to grow into. Works great for my set up with 2 zones and Apple airplay.
